Start Alex over Miles. TJ Warren needs to take Tolliver's minutes and hopefully push for PJ's starting spot. I honestly think one of the biggest problems this year has been the rotation; it just doesn't make sense to me.
The way Horny defers to the vets on this team - to the detriment of the team - you'd think we were prepping them for a trade. The question is, what ****ing trade? The most enticing thing on the market is probably that Pels' pick Houston holds. I'd love to get my hands on Vonleh without giving up Ennis.
Don't get me wrong - I love TJ and think he is the most talented player on the roster. But if anyone's shown he could improve our play this year, sadly, IMO, it's Tyler Ennis. He gets teammates involved the way none of our other PG's do. Totally unselfish. And he doesn't turn the ball over, the way Goran and especially Bledsoe do. How many times this season have we seen our offense grind to a halt due to consecutive turnovers by Bledsoe? Hard to remain enthused when your point guard gives the ball away before anyone else ever touches it.
If I had my way, I'd ditch Goran, Tucker, Gerald and Plum - and I'd give all that up for the Pels' pick, Vonleh, and a bad contract like Gerald Henderson. THEN I'd try to combine our lotto picks (as many as 3! We could even keep one or two of them or roll one forward!) with Bledsoe to nab one of the two top picks to grab one of these bigs. Then, after all those trades *in favor of other teams*, we'd have:
IT/Ennis
[Henderson]/Goodwin/Zoran (and eventually Bogdanovic)
Mook/Warren
Kieff/Vonleh/Tolliver
Len/Towns or Okafor
Rebuild accomplished.
