Making me hungry now.

No In and Out in Oregon. I miss my late night double with french fries done animal style (just the fries though.. taking a bit of each gets me my animal style taste with my burger) with a little ketchup on top. Sounds ridiculous. And it is. Ridiculously good.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Never could stand animal style. I'm just not a fan of mayo on my burgers or fries.

Double double with lettuce and tomato only. That is a hell of a burger.

I haven't had a Whataburger since the early 90's. Always thought they were a bit dry. They may have improved though.

Since we've pretty much...fried...this thread...gotta question!

Do you guys always put some sort of condiment (or in some cases a condom mint?) on your fries?

Or, if they taste well enough on their own, do you leave them be?

Ketchup on the side, always.
Go Suns!

Minimum of ketchup. Sometimes ranch.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Add grilled onions, grilled jalapeño and mustard. Then they are great. Well, great for a fast food burger. Which means don't eat more than 1 or 2 a year.

Even if they are great, I like a sauce. But agree that sugary tomato-like sauce isn't the best. I try and use lots of pepper and sriracha mixed into the ketchup. Equal parts. :)

Chipotle ketchup is pretty good, not the easiest to find for me though. Sriracha goes great on nearly everything, it doesn't make sense to me how well it meshes with most foods.

Tabasco and ketchup. The best.

I never thought about that way but that is so true.

I'm content to eat fries with no / minimal ketchup, but I prefer having some over none. I am not up for putting other things on fries, like salsa, sriracha, tabasco, or mayo. That just tastes wrong to me.

I will say that fries tend to upset my tummy, probably from all the oil and grease. Especially if I loaded them up with ketchup.
