1) You have to be at war to be charged with treason. It literally requires you support your enemy in war against the US.In2ition wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 4:34 pmBecause that's where you send traitors, then you have a military tribunal and then it's firing squad if found guilty. Besides, there has been a lot of activity lately going to Guantanamo Bay. No idea who's going there, but word is that they doubled the perimeter fencing this past yr too.
Call it an echo chamber but we're just in the habit of ignoring unverified hearsay from suspicious sources. And I have more information than most folks for various reasons. I've learned to trust some sources more than others.In2ition wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 6:21 pmWhy do you think I'm beyond saving? I should be a bit offended, v9mm. I'm the only one besides BigDrawls that is a slight escape from your own echo chamber here.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 5:48 pmI would drop this thread, gents. We won't convince In2 with any fact checking when he's so completely bought into the lies of the alt right media machine. And this comes down to the failures of the MSM, as reasonable as they have been. They have been mostly minor but when you lose trust, it is hard to gain it back.
If you can't know how to tell what is bat shit crazy, how can you tell truth from lies? You rely on social proof, what people around you think. It really isn't your fault and you are not being any more stupid than most humans tend to be. In2 has smart takes on basketball so it really is his echo chamber trapping him
Let's talk basketball. BTW I have spent time visiting a branch office of Silver Lake. Does this make me an accessory to voter fraud?
First off, I don't really know anything, we all know that. I just get my info from others that think they know something. You shouldn't take me so seriously. Unless I'm mistaken we are at war, still in the Afghan War. If the EO 13848 is activated after the DNI delivers his report, you could see this put into effect.Indy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:09 pm1) You have to be at war to be charged with treason. 2) If instead of treason you mean some other federal crime, you don't go to a military tribunal unless you are a part of the military.
3) A federal court can't send you to a military prison if found guilty. You would go to a federal prison.
4) Do you have inside info from people you know on the ground there? Because all these stories about it being prepped for American prisoners has continually been debunked by fact checkers in numerous orgs.
Maybe this.Is there a Liberals only platform like Parler out there? Serious question because I'm sure that would irk many a Conservative.
Your views on twitter are not in line with what I see on there every day. If you can point out any free speech they denied (from either side) that isn't hate speech or verifiable lies, please do.In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 8:55 amI think Parler has been a refuge for conservatives as Twitter has done everything they can to quell free speech from conservatives. I think it would be a echo chamber, if there was a large number of people on there, but at least it isn't banning free speech, people or topics.
You could say that Twitter is pretty much a Liberal haven, as you can say nearly anything vile about Conservatives and it's ok. Want to call a conservative Jew a Nazi, you are good to go. Want to say that all Republicans should be rounded up and sent to the Gulag, yeah, that's ok too. Want to spread false info about conservatives, please do, it's encouraged.
I've never been on the platform nor will I ever (I preach love, not hate) but I can read:

I tried Parler, the social media app where hate speech thrives
Says a bunch of Liberal lamestream media sources.Superbone wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:11 pmI've never been on the platform nor will I ever (I preach love, not hate) but I can read:

Didn't they ban the New York Post's account for over a month about the Hunter Biden story?Indy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 11:59 amYour views on twitter are not in line with what I see on there every day. They suspended my account permanently. I made a comment about Ajit Pai leaving. I said "I hope the door hits him on the way out, he falls off the curb and breaks an ankle. The guy killed Net Neutrality and is a joke!".In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:52 pmDidn't they ban the New York Post's account for over a month about the Hunter Biden story?Indy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 11:59 amYour views on twitter are not in line with what I see on there every day. They recently suspended Scott Adam's(Dilbert creator) account.
They've suspended Michelle Shemeka's account.
They suspended Lin Wood and Sydney Powell's accounts for an article that they posted about Dominion.
These are only a few recently.
That's weak. You shouldn't have been suspended for that. It's ridiculous.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:33 pmThey suspended my account permanently. I made a comment about Ajit Pai leaving. So yeah, they don't just ban Conservatives and let Liberals run free. For the record, my account was @SpankyStache.
Agreed. But sure if it's because I @AjitPai but they said personal threats of harm are a violation of Twitter conduct or some shit. Don't ever tell someone they should break an ankle.In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 5:05 pmThat's weak. You shouldn't have been suspended for that. That was like saying "good luck", right? Like telling an actor to break a leg before a performance, haha.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 6:10 pmAgreed.
