I'm not necessarily a Kyler fan, but the hate that he gets is mostly unwarranted. He is not perfect, you won't find a perfect QB and it takes much more than one person to win a football game. Moving the organization in the right direction and building a team that's going to withstand injuries and be balanced and able to win in multiple ways is how this thing is going to get corrected. I am very confident that this ends up being Kyler's best year yet. I have my own worries about the Petzing offense though.

It's not one play. It's the same play we've seen Kyler miss time and time again. Same Kyler, looooooong list of excuses for someone who's never won a playoff game
I'm listening to Kurt Warner talking about this play, and he's explaining that Marv should have stayed in the middle of field, but also saying there is a ton of things happening at that moment when Kyler is standing in the End Zone and Marv got bumped too. It could have been called PI or illegal contact on the DB in that play too. But fans are so quick to make sweeping judgements about things they know very little about.

There's always a reason Kyler missed the open man.

This is exactly how I feel. Great take.

Okay guys? Let's hear the list of excuses for this week's pitiful second half display. Another W that felt like an L and likely lost Will Johnson and Garrett Williams

220 yards and an interception what a performance!

Thst interception was terrible. No excuse. Losing Max Melton and Garrett Williams is going to hurt. That's 4 starters down now from the CB room alone.

Little man doing little things this week again. Only sees his TEs. Scrambling every single play for no reason. Missing zone reads

I’ve been a Kyler believer in the past, but I think I’m out. Though admittedly I think the play calling is bad and so is MHJ…that looks like a terrible pick so far.

Marv, Zay Jones with awful drops.
Kyler woke up in the fourth Quarter and grew a pair for once and the team was just embarrassingly bad

Emari Demercado with some ridiculous drops too. None of this was Murray's fault except the intentional grounding. His receivers failed him. Petzing is a terrorist.

So we're just going to blame Petzing for the dink and dunk all first half and failing to even look at a receiver for his first 20 throws basically? The same dink and dunk that he did with Kliff at the helm? Or are we blaming Kliff for that as well. Kliff and Petzing both holding Murray back from unleashing
The drops stick out, but Murray buried us in the first half and the drops were the nail

Also, everyone is talking about Marvin's drop but nobody is mentioning that Kyler was late ONCE AGAIN on a ball that caused MHJ to stand there and wait for it allowing the defender to catch up.
He throws that ball 1-2 seconds earlier and it hits his receiver in stride and it's a TD instead of every time Kyler gets a guy deep there's essentially 0 YAC because he's so late on his reads

I'm going to agree with you on the Marvin drop. Marvin was wide open and he knew where the defense was, but since he had to slow down to get the ball, he had to reassess where the defense was and how soon they were closing on him. That in my opinion really affected the catch. Had it been in stride, he is able to just make the catch and then get up field, taking what he can at that point. Throwing it late and behind the receiver, it puts the receiver in a dangerous position.
I'm tired of this shit and I'm getting tired of hearing that Petzing is doing a great job. We are like 31st in every team receiving stat. I'm convinced that if prime Megatron and prime Fitz were on this team, they would look like complete trash. I stand by my opinion that Petzing is killing this offense and holding the team back.
The Cards are going to get absolutely cooked on Thursday night.

Fire Petzing on Friday.
Use the rest of the season to evaluate Kyler. His last chance, no more excuses about bad coaches forcing him to throw 5 yards down the field instead of 20

Well that sucked…how do you get an illegal procedure penalty there? Kicker lost that one after the offense stormed us back

That's an inexcusable special teams fuckup on the last kickoff. Letting Seattle start from the 40 meant they were already only about 15 yards from field goal range.
Murray and the offense need to start playing before the last five minutes of the game, too.
