Magic trades Lou Will less than 24 hours after he's in charge and McD's had Knight for 2 years now and still nothing.

There's just different ways teams do things and that's why the Lakers have 16 championships while the Suns have 0.
To be fair, Lou is playing so much better than Knight is, there isn't a real comparison to be made.

Sure, that should change the level of compensation you get in return. The principle and commitment is no different. As long as Knight is on this team, we're half assing our rebuild. For every game we play Tucker more minutes than Warren, we're half assing our rebuild. Same with Chandler over Len and Chriss.

Not only does this team not have a vision on the court, but they have no vision off the court either.

Knight is that stock you sunk a ton of money into, then doubled down on it a few months later, but it dropped 50% since then and you can't bring yourself to sell it.

Does that even qualify as a Wojbomb? I think Cousins will be the biggest piece moved this deadline.

He's a nice piece for Atlanta. Solid backup 4.

Don't know if he's bigger, but I think we end up seeing Butler to Boston.

Man, Marcus Thorton sure gets around. Is there a team he hasn't been on?

Supposedly Chicago's not interested in giving up a 1st with a player for Okafor. More intent on moving Mirotic. What are the conditions of the Miami pick?

I love Okafor's offensive game. I think he's a special player on that end. I know the concerns on defense, but we could go to more a grind it out game with him and Chandler in the frontcourt.

Super quiet right now, but the deadline is at midday today, and I think some deals will be submitted right at the last moment. Teams like to wait to make sure they don't get a better last-minute offer. Not sure whether we'll get a big name moved (like Butler), but I think we'll see a handful of small-medium size deals.

Is Dallas sending their 2017 draft pick?

Ok, that's decent protection. Good trade for Dallas.

If (when) that Dallas pick is blocked by protection, does it roll over to the next year?

I'm sure it's got some sort of rolling protection. Could turn out to be good for philly if Dallas bottoms out and that pick's protection runs out. More likely it turns into 2nd rounders if it never transfers. Still probably a good haul for philly, they clearly had no plans to pay nerlens this off-season.
