TOO, please don't go. I need you! I, for one, and I'm not the only one, appreciate your positivity and humor.

Appreciate it, but the constant ragging on the team is garbage. They could get rid of Beal tomorrow and all people will talk about is they traded for him instead. Just constantly dwelling on things you can't change. It's so tired. Just like the Ayton thing. I'll just stick to lurking mostly.
100% agree. The Ayton thing is really getting me. A certain member in particular. It pisses me off every time he chimes in. There is absolutely NOTHING to defend about Ayton.TOO wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 10:07 pmAppreciate it, but the constant ragging on the team is garbage. Lol, that sounds more like a you problem than a me problem. Maybe try therapy?SunsRIt wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 10:19 pm100% agree. The Ayton thing is really getting me. To be fair, the front office's decision making has sucked. But the Ayton trade was the least of its sins.Aztec Sunsfan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 11:46 pmOnce upon a time, I warned you people, about letting soft trolls roaming around the board, littering every thread with overdue contents, make subtle references and then letting them throw stones while hiding their hands, and I was pushed out.
Some stan stayed behind to blow up the board, but moderators prefers to push people into lurkinghood, instead of making fundamental changes.
Still one of the best places to found coherent conversations on the Suns, but far from the 10/10 place it used to be. And it’s not just the negativity, there’s always been extreme pessimism around here, but the beating of dead horses growing exponentially, including that sutile “I told you so” that some characters were expecting almost over a year to comeback and said it.
I think we can take the temperature down here. Folks don't need to get personal. I don't want to ban or restrict discussion of DA but it does seem like a lightning rod topic. Let's be civil to each other, please. That goes for both sides.
Having a coach who cares enough to adjust, young athletic bigs and getting rid of the half court scarecrow should make this team 500% more enjoyable. Hustle, movement, defense will be such a refreshing change. I look forward to the season.pickle wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 5:51 amI am generally speaking not an optimist because I find the outcome to be more palatable when things go wrong and pleasant when my expectations are exceeded by just a tiny bit.
Having said that this past season was one of the hardest in my 30+ years of fandom.
But this offseason I tried very hard and almost succeeded in turning off part of my fandom. Now I’m just more or less happy to have a team I can root for again, results be damned. It’s a refreshing feeling to have youngsters on the court whom I can reasonably expect to get better with time and so now I can finally dream about what might be.
In short, I choose happiness!

I appreciate your optimism, pickle. Keep it up; it is infectious, and we need a little of that around here.pickle wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 5:51 amI am generally speaking not an optimist because I find the outcome to be more palatable when things go wrong and pleasant when my expectations are exceeded by just a tiny bit.

We should go after That Mark Williams guy so Khaman will have somebody to high-five.
You’re right, Marty. I try not to make things personal, but for some reason people keep wanting to make things personal with me.
You're gaslighting. You know damn well what you're doing, then playing innocent victim. Just let it go bro. If you want to talk about DA and all his positive traits, take it to a place it'll be better received. It's been well established what essentially everyone else's thought is on this board and it's been beaten to death and he's not even on the team anymore. Don't walk into a church talking about the devil. Go to the message board of whatever team he ends up on and be his hype man. It's spam here at this point. Talk about the Suns.JeremyG wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 12:44 pmYou’re right, Marty. I try not to make things personal, but for some reason people keep wanting to make things personal with me.
If I could re-state my post in a more constructive way: if people are feeling strong negative emotions like anger just because a certain player is being defended, perhaps they should reevaluate their level of hatred for said player. It’s just basketball.
I appreciate your neutral stance and providing a forum for all opinions on the Suns and the NBA to be expressed, Marty!
That’s the thing everyone keeps ignoring. I don’t talk about him. I only respond when others bring him up.specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 8:02 pmYou're gaslighting. Don't respond. There is not a member on this board that is looking for a debate on DA. Just let it go.JeremyG wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 8:04 pmThat’s the thing everyone keeps ignoring. The only exception was posting the buyout news last night.
