I think Gambo said Goodwin was maybe expected back a week later.
4 days off now before the Kings and Bulls. Then it's Pels, Hornets, Bucks, Pacers so the opportunity to stack some wins is there if we take advantage. We have I think the 8th easiest schedule down the stretch which is nice. Just need to get healthy and then stay healthy.
Key Suns Performances:
β’ C.J. Huntley led Valley in scoring with 25 points and added 8 rebounds. I still keep tabs on him and he puts together the occasional nice performance.
β’ Koby Brea scored 18 points, hitting six 3-pointers. Brea had 15 in the first half. Not sure what happened after but the team was getting spanked anyway and missing some key players. The main thing is Brea shot some healthy percentages in this one

I have a bad habit of posting the final post on the weekly Thread but here goes.
valley suns win today
Maluach 27 pts 14 rebounds 2 blocks. He at least now seems decent at beating undersized g league centres. Some consistent nba minutes (even 5 non garbage) coupled with g league development time seems like a good way forward.
Huntley - 20 points 15 rebounds. playing like a guy who is after a soon to be available two way spot. 2nd 20 10 game in a row.
Brea - 14pts not great shooting -%s but made a number of buckets in the 4th and a few nice passes to man man.
Sorry they used to nice suns rookie highlights but here are game highlights
Highlights:

I love the updates on the Valley Suns and the rooks; keep 'em coming! I'm really bummed out about Brea. He should be carving up that competition but he has really struggled to find his shot. If he were a dead-eye shooter he'd have a place in the NBA, but if he can't figure that out, I don't think so.
He seems to be getting closer and closer. The important thing is that we are seeing progress.
It should be noted that only Man Man went to the valley suns, Fleming stayed. A good sign that we feel heβs ready for real NBA minutes.

To my untrained eyes, ManMan still needs to work on body control. He kind of flails about like one of those inflatable men outside car dealerships, seems off balance and tipping around as he moves. He's a very tall and gangly man, so some of that is probably natural. But I think he would be more effective if he kept his posture and his limbs under better control and wasn't so close to stumbling or falling so much. I think part of it is just being more vertical and not reaching / extending so far horizontally, though I admit I know nearly nothing about how to move around as a 7-foot tall man.

Maybe you should look into that leg lengthening surgery. Just a thought. SNL parodied that last night so it's on top of mind.

I still have hope because he started so well and still has some good games. To be fair his teammates change often- he tends to have bad games when the other rooks suddenly come into the lineup. Perhaps more of emphasis is put on getting Fleming and MM the ball during these games?
Iβve seen a new nice highlights of him faking the 3pt and driving to the hoop which look promising. From the box scores he also gets played around a bit from sg to pg. but yes he needs to finish the season stronger that his recent showings.
