I do believe the Knicks are in for a very rude awakening come game one.

I'm starting to believe in the Knicks a little bit. I thought the SA/OKC matchup was the "real" NBA Finals, but now I'm thinking that the Knicks might just have a chance after all? They've just had quite the run, seem healthy, and clicking. I just think that the winner between OKC and SA is just going to be banged up enough to give NY a chance.

Knicks are red hot for sure, but the Cavs roster just anywhere near as good as the 3 other teams that were left.

I'm with you, especially if Jalen Williams and De'Aaron Fox continue to be gimpy.

This person has nailed the issue.

I think saying Kobe never moved like that is simply not true…it’s easy to put together a couple clips(I’m sure someone could make the exact opposite video with SGA pump faking to open looks).
Certainly SGA does this stuff more than just about anyone ever has and I agree it’s a problem…but Kobe also used pump fakes to draw fouls…
Point still remains that the nba should tweak the language to get rid of this. If the defender jumps into your space, then by all means it should still be a foul, but the offensive player making an unnatural attempt at a shot should not reward him with free throws.

Tony Brothers was on some bullshit tonight. Bummer. OKC goes up 3-2 in the series.

As much as Silver and the NBA top brass seems to be working on tanking, they can't just let flopping and ref-baiting go as an important issue harming the league. What OKC is doing is shameful and beneath this great game of ours. Nobody wants to watch this sort of behavior. It has goddamn Suns fans rooting for the Spurs, for Pete's sake.

Looked to me like the Spurs couldn't hit outside shots last night - an issue they've had all season. To put it in perspective, they only had 3 guys shooting better than Goodwin this season plus one guy shooting almost as well as Goodwin. The rest of their main guys shot about as well as Ryan Dunn.
It will be interesting to see how they adjust this offseason. Bryant, Harper, and Castle are still young enough to expect some improvement. Will they believe that is enough, or will they try to make a move? Barnes is a good shooter, but has aged out of his minutes, and is a FA this summer. I think he's gone. Fox is who he is, and I think they should move him, but they don't HAVE to for another year.

Send them Booker for Harper and the ghost of Tiago Splitter.

Suns legend Miles Plumlee with the hard and unnecessary intentional foul in garbage time.

For the record, I don't think the non-goal tend call was blatant. You could have called offensive goal tending as well. You could say they cancel each other out.

And yeah, Wemby isn't doing himself any favors staying so far from the basket and shooting jumpers. He really can't get closer to the hoop? He went from looking dominant to quite average last game.

There were like 3 incorrect calls in a row that went against San Antonio…so I get the frustration…but San Antonio played like crap…they didn’t lose because of the refs.
