TJ Warren sighting. Comes in, launches a 3. It bricks out badly; that is outside of his range.

This game just got uglier than Hedo...iLLmatic wrote:What up LL?!LazarusLong wrote:It was Vlade that smoked.iLLmatic wrote:Fuck Turkoglu looks old, he needs to layoff the smokes.
Hedo is just naturally butt-ugly ...
I'm fine iLL, but the Suns are driving me to drink, and that's a very short drive ...
The Hack Andre gambit is an abject failure, and the three-PG set isn't working in an essentially half-court pace.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Brutal end to this game with all the fouling and horrible offense by the Suns.

Deflating loss. I think our team is capable of so much more, but then we just get clowned and exposed by a Clips team that probably isn't a very legit contender themselves. Too much chucking and 1-on-1 ball. Too many PGs playing like SGs. Not enough D, rebounding.
This stretch of tough games is taking a toll. The Suns kind of "are who we thought they were", a team that's good against bad-to-middling teams, and can whoop most of the East's best, but can't really hang with most any of the other West playoff teams.

Sounds like i turned it off in time.

yup, i predicted the current suns will at least be 6 games worse than last year.Mori Chu wrote:Deflating loss. and the benching of players who gets T'd is becoming counterproductive.

What's pissing me off is that the Suns get baited into a lot of woofing by the Clips.
Yes, we all hate the Clips, but the fact is, their playground posturing is effective against the Suns.
Which speaks volumes about the maturity level of the Suns, collectively.

What I worry about the most is that the current "culture" of the Suns will get inherited by the kids. Ball hogging, no passing, hero ball. I wonder if there needs to be change for change's sake -- to change the culture.LazarusLong wrote:He was doing his best Tucker imitation.Mori Chu wrote:TJ Warren sighting. Comes in, launches a 3. Agreed, take a look at Detroit, sometimes it's more about the culture than the talent.virtual9mm wrote:What I worry about the most is that the current "culture" of the Suns will get inherited by the kids. Markieff laughing at the bench worries me real bad.

He is 5. I waited this long because my first game was when I was five, and same with my daughter.Cap wrote:How old is he?

Being there in person, I feel like where we lost the game was before it even started. It looks like our plan was to let Griffin beat us with outside shooting. Unless every player that was guarding him didn't follow their instructions, our plan was to follow the roll and leave him open. It looks like we changed the strategy a little at half time, but by then it was too late.Mori Chu wrote:Deflating loss. What killed me about the Hack-a-Andre gambit is that we didn't have a single rebounder in the game. Even if he did start missing more of them, we weren't going to get the ball anyway. Again, poor decisions by Jeff.LazarusLong wrote:This game just got uglier than Hedo...iLLmatic wrote:What up LL?!LazarusLong wrote:It was Vlade that smoked.iLLmatic wrote:Fuck Turkoglu looks old, he needs to layoff the smokes.

I will be incredibly surprised if we know who the 8 teams are in the playoffs before the last couple days of the season.INFORMER wrote:OKC lost today, so they're not exactly looking like a juggernaut.iLLmatic wrote:This team is so frustrating to watch. Do we make the playoffs this year?

We actually took Len out during the hack-a-Jordan stretch which I thought was odd.
We unraveled and couldn't get over the hump when the Clips turned up the defense. All of a sudden we were going east-west, they were coming out high and defending the pick and roll well which turned into overdribbling and dribbling into the multiple defenders. We should be looking to post Len. He should get touches when the game slows down.

Agreed Shel. But I don't think Coach sees it that way.
Re: Game Day: Clippers (29-14) @ Suns (26-19), Sun 1/25/15
Bad coaching and an overall bad performance by most of tbe team. Nothing from Dragic and nothing from Bledsoe in the 4th. With having such a deep team it s so frustrating watching so many players have a bad game all at once. Our defense has been just abysmal lately. I like Markieffs supposed vow of no mormore ts lasted like 2 games.

To be fair I think it lasted two weeks. And tonight's was a pretty shitty call by the ref on the tech.

the suns had no post player other than markieff. len may or may not have that skill, but we all know there's a reason he doesnt usually play late in the fourthShelC wrote:We actually took Len out during the hack-a-Jordan stretch which I thought was odd.
