It's really clear which are the best 16 teams in the league: The current top-6 in the East, and the current top-10 in the West. Boot Charlotte and Miami, who are currently #7 and #8 in the East despite being under .500, and let in OKC and New Orleans, both over .500 and infinitely scarier as a playoff opponent.

Everyone knows I think Chris Paul is a me first shithead. So Im not real surprised he'd say something misogynistic. I hope the fine is in the 6 figures.

Maybe I am the asshole here, but how is that misogynistic? I don't think the meaning changes one bit if you put him/he in there.

However I can see it coming across that way depending on his tone/demeanor when he said it, and I am not putting that past him. But the text itself isn't.

I don't see the misogyny either, but I'm still annoyed at Chris Paul for criticizing a woman who's kind of
attractive.

I was hoping the Suns would sign him as a cheap flyer before he went to Europe, and I still would love to bring him back to the NBA and give him a shot in the backcourt with Dragic:
2. Andrew Goudelock - Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul (3-2)
17.5 points (47% 3FG), 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 30 minutes.
Andrew Goudelock is the best rookie in the Euroleague this year, who already managed make his name in Europe by becoming the first man to sink 10 three-pointers in a single game. The former Eurocup MVP is one of the most dominating offensive players in the Euroleague, ranking second in scoring (17.5 PPG) and sharing season-high scoring result with Spanoulis (34). Despite Goudelock scoring 19 points or more in four of five Top 16 games, Fenerbahce Ulker ranks third in group F, which means no home-court advantage for Istanbul team in the playoffs.

We have Zoran, he's awesome, probably the best sitter on the team.

If they really wanted to make a play to ingratiate the organization to Goran, why not build a team around him that embraces his abilities, not marginalizes them. Do that instead of wasting a roster spot.

Did anyone else pump their fist a tiny bit when Zoran got a dunk in garbage time of that otherwise pathetic loss to Portland the other night?

This has already been discussed a bit, but ESPN is reporting that Amare Stoudemire is again trying to decide whether to ask the Knicks to buy him out.
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_ ... t-decision
I don't think he'd be much of an asset for a team like the Suns, who already have too many guys who want minutes. It'd be interesting to see where he might go, though. What team could use a guy like him?
I do think of Amare as being "done" as an impact player in the NBA, but, he is somehow still averaging 12 PPG (.551 FG%) and 7 RPG in 25 minutes. Not as bad as I would have thought.

he's can be converted into a stretch 5. there's room for him. he can take frye's spot. somebody will get less minutes.
