Marbury didn't either, or IT3 for that matter. Some players are just not into running despite being blessed with speed and athleticism.Superbone wrote:Yeah, obviously Hornacek wants him to push the ball but he just doesn't for whatever reason.

I don't care if they're not into it. If that's what the coach wants, that's what you do.Ring_Wanted wrote:Marbury didn't either, or IT3 for that matter. Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Hey if they pay you 70M even when you don't listen to Coach, why start now?Superbone wrote:I don't care if they're not into it. I look forward to the day that we have zero knuckleheads on this team.

I think that is a lofty goal. I don't know if we will ever achieve it (or ever have in the past).Mori Chu wrote:I look forward to the day that we have zero knuckleheads on this team.

Knuckleheads can be useful (see "Rodman, Dennis") The trick is to have a team culture and coaching that can rein in undue silliness. The Bad Boy Pistons seemed to know when to behave and when not to (not that I liked their style of ball). Larry Brown had success controlling Rasheed Wallace when that version of the Pistons made a championship run.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Agreed, LL. This is one of the reasons as to why I love the Chandler move and why believe that Kieff and PJ have to go, even at the cost of some value.
Two out of the last three seasons have been brutal.

You've all read Paola's article on why the Suns need to keep Markieff?

No Kieff whatsoever and that's ok. The player has burned quite a few bridges already and I find it hard to believe that he would backpedal and see the other side of this stupid fiasco.

I refuse to read that Boivin article because it wants me to take some stupid survey before I can even see the content. Closed. Dumb website is dumb.

I think it is fair for news websites to charge for their service, especially if that charge is a 1 question survey.Mori Chu wrote:I refuse to read that Boivin article because it wants me to take some stupid survey before I can even see the content. Closed. Dumb website is dumb.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. There's more LBJ than Markieff in that video.Ring_Wanted wrote:No Kieff whatsoever and that's ok. The player has burned quite a few bridges already and I find it hard to believe that he would backpedal and see the other side of this stupid fiasco.

I have no problem doing the survey if it's on a site you're technically supposed to pay for. Most of the time it's for products I don't use anyway. Basketball-reference.com uses them now too if you haven't noticed.Indy wrote:I think it is fair for news websites to charge for their service, especially if that charge is a 1 question survey.Mori Chu wrote:I refuse to read that Boivin article because it wants me to take some stupid survey before I can even see the content. I just checked again to be sure, but I don't have any pop up there or anything redirect me.carey wrote:I have no problem doing the survey if it's on a site you're technically supposed to pay for. Try doing a player comparison. It'll search the results but won't let you see them or link to them from another site (such as here) without doing the survey.Indy wrote:I just checked again to be sure, but I don't have any pop up there or anything redirect me.

That's fair; I'm not saying they have no right to do it. I just find it annoying and would rather not read the article if I have to answer a survey. Perhaps unexpectedly, I'd rather they just put an ad on the site.Indy wrote:I think it is fair for news websites to charge for their service, especially if that charge is a 1 question survey.Mori Chu wrote:I refuse to read that Boivin article because it wants me to take some stupid survey before I can even see the content.
