Some are (accurately?) saying that the current Warriors / Cavaliers rivalry is the best in sports. Apparently it set some ratings records (It was the most streamed Christmas game ever and had their biggest overnight record for the last 12 years for the 2:30 game.)

This is mostly stupid, but a bit funny because the singing is bad (Spencer Hawes apparently!) and you see Frank Kaminsky dressed as a cowboy:

So an Ohio newspaper snuck a 3-1 joke into their headline about the Christmas day game. I have a feeling this might bite them in the ass big time come Spring:

I thought it was pretty clever.

I wonder if Phil still dreams of Jeanie.

A little before my time but it was in syndication by the time I was watching tv after school. Barbara Eden could get it.
That was often followed by Bewitched with Elizabeth Montgomery.

I've thought about Tyson to the Rockets but I don't want to help the rockets (childish I know) and they really don't have many pieces. I don't know what they'd give up for Koufos, so I can't imagine they have the assets for Chandler. Supposedly they've been offering Corey Brewer to teams, which isn't getting them far. Dekker and Harrell interest me, but I think they really like both guys (esp Dekker) and we'd still have to take back Brewer.
I'd love to work something out with Boston. I've read they're looking for a rim proteector, which Tyson really isn't at this point. But I think he'd be a better defender on that Cs team than ours. I've also always thought of Horford as a 4, so if they go bigger with Tyson at the 5, they could be a great combo. I'd look at some of their role players like Zeller and Crowder (love Crowder) or Amir Johnson straight up.

I like Onuaku as a backup to Len. If Houston could put together a package of Brewer + Onuaku, I'd be down.

D'Antoni has no interest in Chandler. The reason they want Koufos is because he can shoot. As Johnnie Cochran would say, "If he can't shoot, it does not compute."

They probably can do without him as Houston ranks top5 in rebound%, but on the other hand, their defREB% is just 15th overall. Tyson would certainly improve that as he gives you 34.7% defREB, better than any other player but Drummond.
You know who should really invest in Tyson (and Tucker)? Boston. ShelC knows

.

Boston wants cap space more than anything. Hence, I don't consider Boston as a possible landing spot.
I actually think a Koufos-Chandler-Onuaku/Brewer three way could work. Chandler can sharpen his mentoring chops with DMC and WCS.

I see that, but I think they should consider spending a moderate amount on patching a glaring need. They are dead last in rebounding. You can't compete seriously like that.

Sacto is a good target as well. They also have Gay to dangle to a third team in need of scoring at forward. And they could use Knight.
Onuaku is interesting. Harrell too, but we have Bender and Chriss, although one real banger would be nice.
Unrelated, but you know who I'd love to get? Milwaukee's Brogdon. I bet they'd listen to a package if we offer Bledsoe. Monroe's on the trading block.

the reason why they want koufos is because a) capela is hurt and b) doufos is one of many excess centers sacramento has that is gettable.

MikeD coached Tyson in NY. Put him with Harden in the PnR and it's Lob City. Would also give Anderson better looks. Tyson wouldn't appreciate being sent to Sacramento.

Do you mean Brogdon Brogdonovich?

The return of a healthy Conley would be huge for Memphis. If they are healthy at playoff time they will be scary. And their coach Fiz may be high on the list for Coach of the Year.

Malcolm Brogdon. Could have easily been a Sun if we had a decent GM.

Harden against the Knicks tonight - 53 points, 16 rebounds, 17 assists.
1st 50-15-15 game in NBA history.
