We're going to crush the Lakers on Thursday. We're currently going in opposite directions. Let's see if they have any pride at all.

Bogut inured 2 minutes into his Cavaliers debut. He's out for the season.

If you want to see the Bogut leg injury, here's a YouTube link. Not gory and gross like some injuries; he takes a knee to the shin and then limps off the court.

By the way, look at the standings right now. Pelicans are 3rd from last in the West with a record of 25-39. I can't easily pull up recent W/L record since they got Boogie, but they are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Looks like they won't make the playoffs. Oops. Bad look with Boogie on the roster.

I think they are something like 2-4 with Boogie, with one of those wins coming when Boogie was suspended (due to technicals) and the other against the hapless Lakers.

It's funny how that Boogie trade has really fallen out of the NBA "news cycle." Nobody is really talking about him or the Pelicans now; they are an uninteresting team that isn't making any playoff noise. I wonder if he'll even stay there long-term. Gentry may be in the hot seat, too.

Gentry's definitely on the hot seat. If they don't get rid of him this summer, he'll be fired middle of next year. Just a matte of when, not if.

Sure would be funny if the Pelicans traded for Boogie but we ended up with him.

Ouch.

I started watching them after the trade to see how it worked out. It didn't and got boring fast.

This is why you shouldn't trade for a star just because he's a star. He has to fit what you want to do. Only, I'm not sure the Pels know what they want to do. They had one of the best big men ion the game and didn't know what to do with him. Now they have two stars big guys that they don't know how to win with. They'll have to bring in a coach with a different vision for the team and see if someone else can get these guys winning.

As a side note, Buddy H looks much much better since the trade. 13 points on .528 shooting.

lebron went boris diaw-itis against mcgruder. passing to the 3 pt shooter instead of going strong for the layup. that's why cleveland lost that game.

Russell Westbrook has 58 points but the Thunder -lose- to the Blazers. That pretty much sums up their season right there.

But it wasn't a triple double, so it wasn't an mvp performance.

If only he had played horrendous defense and chucked up 3s the whole game, THEN he'd be an MVP.

The more his team loses and the more he chases personal glory at team expense the less he deserves it.

MVP-o-meter leaning Harden.
