I wish a coach could challenge until he gets one wrong.

I never understood teams being penalized for a successful challenge…. The “spirit” of challenges is to get it right.

I understand not having unlimited though. I think I’d give 1 challenge per half and you get a 2nd one in the 2nd half if you haven’t gotten one wrong. I’d also give a new challenge if the game goes to OT.

Better yet, teams should be able to veto one official from reffing any of their games in the playoffs.

That way we don’t have to give up the prerequisite game per series.

Uh, Scott Foster, you won't be going to Phoenix any time soon. No golf for you!

It never made sense to "lose" or "use up" your challenge if it succeeded. Glad they're likely to change that.

I like the proposal. As long as you’re getting them right, keep challenging. Nobody wants to see the game stopped ten times for review, but it’s better than allowing ten wrong calls to stand.

A lot of officials were in their own feelings for a while after the coaches challenge was introduced. I haven't noticed any indignance from the officials while conducting a review in a while.

Permitting only one challenge per game never made much sense but it allowed for a gradual adjustment period for teams and officials.

You think this was always the plan?
