Wouldn’t surprise if Monty goes to the Bucks, but let’s see how the sixers series go. If they lose, wouldn’t surprise me if they fired Doc and hired Monty.

I bet the final nail in the coffin was starting Landry Shamet in an elimination game.

My gut tells me Ishbia gots Book’s blessing on this.

The blowouts fall on Monty. Can't have your teams come out like that in elimination games. There's no getting around that. A team takes on the personality of the coach, maybe we need more intensity instead of calmer and relaxed.

I really don't think it was Xs and Os or not adjusting or anything like that. His teams didn't show up in the biggest moments. I still really like him, think he's getting a bit of a raw deal with the team changing so much and new ownership. Maybe he wanted to move on himself and not coach a 2-star roster.

Sometimes coaches just need better players, and having a top heavy roster creates imbalances. Also, if we're being honest - Nick Nurse and the Raps won a title because GS lost KD to injury and Budz was a KD toe away from getting fired, not to mention being down 0-2 in the Finals against us. They're the veteran names tho that have been to the mountain top. Vogel too. Maybe there's an assistant somewhere that gets a crack.

Ishbia made this move. I'm dreading the words "Isiah Thomas will be involved", as I feel like that's coming if he's not already in Ishbia's ear. And if that's the case, fire Jones too and let Thomas f-k it up right now just to get it all over with.

I'd love to have Tyrone Lue as coach. When new owners come in, they tend to make changes. Especially with the head coach. Monty was good, he helped lead a team to the finals, but it's time for a new voice.

But what do we have to offer the Clippers? It seems like it would take a first round draft pick or something.
