Booker being 17th in West All-Star voting is bullshit.

It's weird. He's respected by his peers but not the fans.

You’d think there’s metrics they could go off of instead of letting stupid fans vote…. Oh wait, there are, then just allow 2 of every position.

So funny how much Knick fans hate Mikal lol

Do they really? What's their problem? I will ask them in person next week at the game.

Mikal isn't as good as Suns fans remember, we have gone through this before

Still very solid though. He has the right attitude about his situation. He can only control what he can control. Not his fault how many picks were given up for him. He's always going to be a high level role player. Not a star.

The Knicks traded for Mikal like he was Kawhi Leonard…fans should be mad at the FO for going all in on a 3rd option. He’s been very good for them this year. 16/4.5/4.5 with 1.5 steals and shooting 41% from 3. They just need to adjust their expectations. They thought they were getting the 25 a game scorer that we saw the one half season in Brooklyn.

16/4/4 on great shooting and defense? He's better than when we had him. I know people say his defense has fallen off, but I don't buy it.
There was some hope that he would be a real scoring threat after his half season of scoring 25ppg for the Nets, and I do think Mikal gets more press than a guy of his talent level usually does. Mostly, I jus think Knicks fans love to be salty.
Edit: Split beat me to it, and said it better to boot.

First off, I'm a bit skeptical that's a real quote. Unless maybe it was a private convo that was posted online...
But as soon as the Knicks lose 3 in a row it's Armageddon online. Mikal's a nice player but they definitely overpaid and Knicks fans weren't all that familiar with his game. He's not an everynight bucket getter and on top of that, as we know, he's not a physically strong, sticky defender. So the picks they gave up, plus the extension, has put him in the crosshairs of a lot of fans online. He's basically putting up his usual career numbers but the expectations are just out of whack now.
If that quote is real, it'll just make fans hate him more.

Why? That makes no sense to me. What he said is perfectly reasonable.
