Who'da thunk the Suns and Rockets would get to 21 wins at the same time after the KD trade this offseason? And what if I told you the principal player on the Suns' side of the trade has only played 5 quarters this season? Of course, the NBA schedule makers magic has us having played 3 more games than Houston to this point this season.

It's laughable how the nba.com preview is mostly about how short handed the Rockets are against the Suns tonight and then it's just a throw in that Jalen Green and Grayson Allen have been out for the Suns. Speaking of Allen, I hope he returns tonight but not holding my breath.

The Rockets will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday shorthanded once more. Sengun had missed four games combined with an illness and calf soreness before going down just 64 seconds into the tilt in Dallas. Behind Kevin Durant, who paired a game-high 34 points with seven assists, the Rockets built an early 11-point lead only to come undone with Sengun sidelined.
"It's always an adjustment for a team when one of the main players goes out during action like that," Durant said. "We prepared for (the Mavericks) with Alpy in the lineup. Everything we did was preparing with our center in the lineup. For him to be taken out of the game with a tough injury, it's tough for us, but I like how we were all pros. We were able to turn the tide and get some momentum for ourselves regardless.
"We're hoping he has a speedy recovery, but in the meantime, we'll have to pick up the slack for him and hold it down for him."
Veteran Steven Adams filled in for Sengun before sustaining an ankle injury recently against the Indiana Pacers and missing both games of a quick road trip through Brooklyn and Dallas. The Rockets have had success mixing and matching lineups based on their depth, but their rotation will be challenged with both Sengun and Adams unavailable.
Sengun is listed as out for Monday's game, while Adams is questionable on the injury report.
The sooner one or both return, the faster the Rockets can get back on the path of challenging the top contenders in the West.

Yep, forgot to mention that. That will make it tough on our guys too especially after the big win last night. Not looking great for tonight although we know Brooks is going to bring the energy against his former team.

This will be a tough game, especially on a SEGABABA on the road with a late flight out. But Sengun being out gives us a fighting chance.

We going to get murder tonight. Late flight in, 2nd night of a back to back. We have no answer for Amen Thompson and the rockets size. KD is going to eat.
120-78 rockets win bigz

I think it was smart to hold Grayson out last night because he wasn't going to probably play both games
I have had no issue with team being cautious. I don't think anyone here really believes he wouldn't play through stuff so has to be the team. Hopefully he gets back into his early season rhythm

Oh that travel stuff wasn't ideal for the fellas but does it even matter these days. I not gonna expect anything but maximum effort as usual
I kinda like KD as primary ball handler against us. Our double teams and rotations are solid. He had some shakey moments last game and could have probably had more turnover so we'll see.
Aaron Holiday "out of nowhere" I think hit a bunch of 3s last game which helped them when we were shutting off the paint

The Rockets starting lineup is 4 PFs and a center. Insane.

I don't hate KD like 99% of Suns fans, but I sure as hell don't miss spending 5 seconds trying to pass him the ball only for the possession to end in a turnover.

Grayson looks so bad. That’s expected when you’ve missed 30 straight games tho.
