We're now a mere 0.007 behind them for 5th in the Western Conference now.

The Lakers have a negative scoring margin and had won 13 close games in a row before losing to Milwaukee, so I think some regression to the mean is due. Oh and apparently the honeymoon period with a certain 1st overall pick is over. Whodathunkit.

100%, I think the Lakers have had a fake good record to start the season and are regressing to the mean. I agree that we are better and should stay ahead of them. I also think we are better than the no-Jokic Nuggets, though that team has been playing great even without their MVP.

Ya they’ve done enough without Jokic that I think they’ll be hard to catch. How I see the west shaping up:

1. OKC

2. Denver
3. Spurs

4. Houston
5. Minny
6. Phoenix

7. Lakers
8. Warriors

9. Clippers
10. Blazers

With some gaps for where the tiers are…some blurry lines between tier 2 and 3 as well.
