Game Day: Warriors (27-24) @ Suns (31-20), Thurs 2/5/26

Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: Prime Video

The Warriors make their final trip to the Valley Thursday night. Headliners Curry and Booker are out. Jalen Green is questionable. Look for Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green to get into some shenanigans as they've had a little back and forth over the last week in the media. We owe the Warriors one and need to win to even up the season series at 2-2.

Warriors just struck out at the trade deadline and are softly admitting that their reign is over. I bet morale will be low right now. We should be able to take care of these guys, especially at home.

I think KP is actually a very intriguing fit, problem is he plays less than AD, so there’s that.

Let Green get some burn today please, should be an easy win by us.

If we lose, it's your fault.

I'd rather save his 1 game to play for a better opponent.

Until I SEE it he's as fragile as Beal. I want 3+ in a row

He's going to end up playing way fewer minutes this year than Beal did in either of his seasons in Phoenix. Beal ended up playing about 1700 minutes each season, which obviously is in the unreliable range. But even if Green started tonight and played all 48 minutes in every remaining game, he could still only get to about 1550 minutes.

I give him credit for not making waves, and in fact he seems to be part of the positivity around the team despite everything. But at some point, he's gotta be able to actually stay on the floor. It's beyond ridiculous now.

You saw the fall right? You blame that on Green?

I'm not blaming anyone, except for maybe, well, you know ... her.

I'm just pointing out that we slagged Beal mercilessly for his inability to stay on the floor, and yet his young, formerly ironman replacement is somehow having the season that he's having. It is what it is, but it's not me blaming anyone to say that it's beyond ridiculous.

Are we going to see Jalen Green in the preseason?
Nope

Dude played all 82 last year in Houston. Naturally he gets here and "nagging injury" right away.

This will be a lost season for him and he'll be moved in the offseason. Gut feeling.

ShelC Nostradamus'd the first part of that one pretty good. I guess we'll have to see about the offseason thing still...

Jalen Green has had essentially just one injury…very different from Beal who was out every other week with a new injury.

Seems weird to get mad at Green for tearing his hamstring.

I’m not mad at Jalen Green. I’m not inventing derogatory nicknames for him or questioning his fortitude or masculinity. I’m saying he’s doing as well as could be expected under the circumstances. I’m just unhappy about those circumstances, which seem like incredibly bad luck considering he had never really had injury issues prior to this year.

I don’t really generally get mad at players on the team, but if I were going to it would be about things they have control over. Not injuries.

I think it's too early to call it a lost season for Green. If he comes back during this home stand and plays every game from there on out, is it still a lost season?

Not only that but Green has played amazingly well when he has played unlike Beal's mediocre performances.
