Game Day: Phoenix Suns (33-26) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (34-23), Thursday Feb. 26th

Post by Kryptonic »

Time: 7:00pm AZ
Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: Arizona's Family 3TV / Arizona's Family Sports, NBALP

Both teams coming from back-to-back loses and looking to get their squads more in sync as the season winds down. Book, Brooks, Goodwin and Highsmith all remain out. The Lakers look to only be down Hayes and Hachimura so we should be seeing plenty of their stars, and Ayton.

With both Book and Brooks out...I think that the LeBron/Lukas win this, unfortunately.

If they play Ayton we might have a chance.

Thanks for the back-to-back threads, Krypto. You are due a win. ;)

You know what, I just want to see our guys play hard for 48 minutes. If Williams isn't cutting it, get Man Man in there right away. Suns surprised me for a quarter and a half against Boston before it all went to crap.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

The best part is that Hayes is out so they will be forced to play Ayton more. Either that or small ball.

Just trying to give some of you guys a break. :)

Time to shake off our bad juju and for Dunn to have a breakout game. What better game to do it, then against our favorite team to hate?

What I wouldn't give for a Dunn dunk over Ayton. The problem is, Ayton would never be in the way. He'd high tail it out of there.

Dunn pretty strong start again on both sides of the ball. Bad turnover before the break but has a 3, a great assist to Williams and finished nicely off a pass from Royce. Also force Luka into a turnover.

Still want to see Green move the ball more quickly unless he's got a shot or lane to the basket.

I know green has to get his feet under him still, needs to get his rhythm due how much time he has missed but damn has it been fucking rough.

He has been as awful as it gets. Like, my least favorite kind of player. Chucking. Ball stopping. Bad decisions. I hate low iq players.

I pray Bookers return shifts him to a strictly scoring role and he gets his rhythm, because I may have a nickname for him by the end of the season

Allen and Green carrying the team, 7 for 22 from the field combined 🔥. Tied at half.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
