Pittsburgh

My partner is getting a big time offer from the University of Pittsburgh soon. The kind of money that is hard to turn down. Does anyone live there or near there? Very curious what it's like. Thanks in advance.

Congrats, carey! I almost moved to Pittsburgh way back in the day to take a job at CMU. I really liked the area, though I'd only been there visiting for a few days. So I can't really answer your question, but as a twenty-something young man I definitely liked it enough to almost-move there.

Congrats Carey! At least the education system will be light years ahead of where you are now.
All I know about Pittsburgh I’ve learned while watching “The Pitt”.
