Credit: I think carey scooped me on this news in the other thread. But I thought it merited its own thread in keeping with the pattern we started with Gillespie's signing. Happy for Goodie to be around next year. I worry a little about regression to the mean, but the contract is very cheap and reasonable, so it seems low-risk to me.

Good deal, I think every good team needs a guy like him in some form. He complements our other guards well and reinforces the identity we carved out this past season.

Goodwin's per minutes numbers were pretty much on the nose for his career numbers - his 3Pt% was a little better and his FT% was a little worse but everything else was eerily close to his career numbers.
