Interesting. He has a high ceiling and a lot of potential to tap into.

If this hits similar to Rasheer Gregory deserves a ton of credit for maximizing assets and turning them into young talent. Fuck them (second round) picks.

Love Koa Peat, but he hired a shot coach before the draft & drastically chanced his mechanics. It's a big red flag atm.

He's 19. I'm sure an NBA shooting coach can get things squared away.

It's neat that we got a 1st rounder, and I liked Peat as a college player. But he will need to drastically improve his shooting if he wants to stick in the NBA. He is young and seems like a good kid, so I hope he can do it.

Love Gregory taking big swings.

It's a breath of fresh air after Mr "always looking for a solid 8th man" James Jones.

Here's where the roster stands -

Booker
Brooks
Green
Williams (Restricted FA)
Gillespie
Ighodaro
Fleming
Allen
O'Neal
Goodwin
Maluach
Dunn
Highsmith
Peat
Brea (Restricted FA)
Two-Way - Huntley & ?

I'm hoping they find a way to keep Bouyea (they have team option on him) but I think they may have plans to keep Brea instead
Coffey and Livers seem to be the odd men out.

As a guy who lives in Indiana I know much about Peat. Saw him fordt game of the year and he looked like a stud then I don't believe I saw him play again really.

Seems small but with a lot of upside. I'll let you guys decide.

It did wonders for Jeff Hornacek.

Just gimme some strength and some paint points and I'll hope the jumper comes.

Mikal did that stupid “change you shot mechanics” in his rookie year too but it all worked out in the end. Of course Mikal was considered a respectable shooter coming out of college.
