Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
For me, great signing and even better value.
Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
That's good. Helps us replace some of the shooting we lost this summer so far. Kennard was one of the few guys LA could play and count on in the playoffs.
Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
Him and Collin will help with spacing. I really wished we could trade green away for a playmaker to help with roster construction.

70% of Grayson Allen for 33% of the salary. Good move.

I think it's also logical to include Kennard in the Bridges trade analysis since his salary space was created via that trade.
Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
Nice! Kennard impressed me with the Lakers last season. Good to get some premier shooting back.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I think they had avenues to get to the TPMLE without the Bridges trade.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 7:06 pmI think it's also logical to include Kennard in the Bridges trade analysis since his salary space was created via that trade.

Just saying the analysis of the trade should include this signing.

Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
I think it’s fair to add Kennard to the analysis of the Bridges trade. I think we’re clearly better off from strictly a player standpoint…the unprotected 2033 pick and off court issues flip it for me though.
Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
I will say, the next thing I’d look to do is move Green for some real playmaking. I’d even attach one or both of our picks to get it, if necessary.
Some thoughts:
Darius Garland
Jrue Holiday
Tyler Herro
Dejounte Murray
Immanuel Quickley
Josh Giddey
Fred VanVleet
Edit: Adding Kyrie

Re: Luke Kennard is a Sun!
I like Kennard, and his shooting is desperately needed. Plus, this is good value. I am disappointed we didn't get Sexton though.
NBA Draft 2026: Quadir Copeland. Nick Martinelli. Trey Kaufman-Renn. Graham Ike.
