Amar'e: Knicks skid is mind-boggling:
LINK (Is it? I mean is it really? That roster is a mess.)
"When I first signed with New York, that wasn't the game plan," Stoudemire said. "... But the past is not here. And neither is the future, so we've got to deal with the now, and I think we've just got to continue to try to get better as a team and as players, try to keep improving."
David Griffin says Blatt, Cavs divide is ridiculous:

Millsap a key to Hawks rise in East:

The Atlanta Hawks just keep on winning. After starting the season 5-5, they've won 20 of 23 games to climb to 25-8 while claiming the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

Kobe is 3-24 in the final minute of games in which the margin is 5 points or less:
LINK
The best Sun? Markieff Morris he is 6 of 9.
Dragic is 4 of 8.
Tucker and Green are both 2 of 4.

to be fair to Kobe, there is no Pau Gasol, or even a Derek Fisher on that team to give opponents any doubt whatsoever. Its totally 1 on 5 now.

Kobe's having a weird season. In a sense, it's great that he has come back from his Achilles injury so fully; he's basically his same old self. But his team stinks, he isn't trying much on D, and his shooting percentage is horrible. I think he's basically trying to maintain good numbers without expending quite as much energy. In a way it's too bad that his last few seasons will be meaningless since his team will not be any good. You kind of want to see the old lion fighting for one more playoff run or title. But FUCK THE LAKERS so no I don't want that. It's yet another way in which his career parallels MJ's, with Jordan's last few meaningless Wizards years.

Dion Waiters is about to be traded to either OKC or NY. Three team discussions per Woj and ESPN.

Cleveland has pulled Dion Waiters from tonight's game and has a deal to trade him.
edit: Shabbazz just beat me to it!

It looks like a possible 3-team trade (Cle, OKC and NY) with JR Smith and Dalembert also involved.

Looks like it's Waiters to OKC, Shumpert and JR Smith to Cleveland and Reggie Jackson to the Knicks.
Nice get for the Knicks.
Also, good for us in our negotiations with Goran this summer (one fewer interested team).

Huh. I was just thinkimg about Waiters after his awful performances recently. Wonder why OKC wants him? Or maybe they just didn't want to pay Jackson.

What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is going on here?!
Reggie Jackson has been blowing up. I don't see why they'd be trading him other than to avoid the salary he might command.

It looks like they're not trading Jackson, but are getting Waiters. Not sure of the details yet

Looks like a straight salary dump by NY. They get Lance Thomas, Alex Kirk, Lou Amundson and a couple of draft picks. Waiters to OKC, Smith and Shumpert to Cleveland.

Ok, not sure why OKC wants Waiters but the Knicks just dumped 2 starting quality guards for absolutely nothing. Interesting.
