Yeah, as long as Jermaine is available, I have no interest in this nobody. :D

Jermaine or bust. Cut everyone and sign Jermaine. We can then build around him.

I think Love will get the max because there are teams with cap space that need help. He just isn't someone who is going to carry your team. We saw that he wasn't able to do that in Minnesota. I just remember the only highlights I would see was him winning games with a three pointer at the last second.

He is a really good 3rd piece for a championship team. If you have good defenders around him.

Love is still a max player under a salary cap for sure. Look at Bosh and what happened when he joined LeBron.

Still think he's the best possible fit for our needs at PF. I'd max him tomorrow.

I don't think there's any way he signs here so I don't want to get into this argument of is he or isn't he worth a max contract. He either resigns to be LeBron's wingman for 4 years or he's on the first private jet to that shithole Los Angeles.

If you put almost any player on a team with a bunch of ball-stoppers, it'll decrease his value.

the suns dont really need kevin love. he's overrated. a cheaper replacement like frye would be enough. but since frye is unavailable...

who would you rather get the ball to in the last 30 seconds of the 4th qtr to get the game winning last shot?

Kevin Love would absolutely perfect for the Suns. He complements Len and the guard play. But I'm glad we locked ourselves into $27 million of annual salary over this past offseason to completely shut the door on even entertaining that possibility.

And I hate Cleveland trading Wiggins even more today than I did when it happened. Cleveland likes to talk about how much bad luck they have in sports, but they make their own mess. JR Smith?! Trading Andrew Wiggins?! Johnny Manziel?! Ugh.

Not quite. Wouldn't you think that the Morris Twins would be part of any package for Love? Love makes $15,719,063 this year. The Morri make 6.2 million taken together. Including the Morri, who received extensions kicking in next year, there's a lot of different combinations of players that can yield Love salary-wise.

The question is whether things really do implode in Cleveland (unlikely) and if Love would be willing to re-sign in Phoenix instead of scooting off to LA (possible).

I think he's saying that we could just sign Love as a FA outright if we had fewer contracts. But I don't like that hypothetical plan because I just don't think it would have been likely to work out. Too many teams save up cap space only to be left at the dance without a date.

Yeah, because INF's desperately trying to hold on to the Morris Bros.

I think the contracts we signed this offseason are moveable, if need be. Bledsoe moreso than the twins. If Philly ever decided to try to field a competitive team, the Morrises would be a great way to jumpstart things.
