I wonder whether Detroit or Charlotte would be willing to make a nice trade with us for one of our glut of PGs. Charlotte lost Kemba and Detroit lost Jennings. Maybe we could get a future 1st for IT, or a young prospect, or something of that nature.

What happened with the draft board again? I feel lost on this story and/or don't know why it's even a story.

Chad Ford goes back later and changes what he said about the draft. Raises guys he had lower that are doing well, and vice versa. Some people pulled cached pages from draft night versus today and pointed out the differences.

What a imbecile thing to do.

Oh, I do that all the time. I had the Greek freak the #2 prospect.

ESPN said they were looking into it, Ford said it wasn't him so they're investigating.

It's so obvious that Ford himself is the one doing it. Nobody else has any reason to go and change his rankings. He just wants to look like a brilliant prognosticator. I think this scandal will ruin his credibility permanently, and deservedly so.

Turns out it was the North Koreans.

I miss real journalism, especially from ESPN. I know it was always about entertaining, but people used to be entertained by learning new and interesting facts. Now we seem to be entertained by new and interesting suppositions.

Does anyone know if the SportsVU data is owned by each team, or by the NBA as a whole?

I wouldn't consider it likely, I just wouldn't be surprised if that's what actually happened.

Got it. I guess I wouldn't be too surprised either.

At the same time, I follow Chad Ford's draft chats regularly, and he's always very candid about prospects he missed on. And he usually doesn't try to come across as the definitive draft voice either. So I don't see him going back and changing things.
