The Suns are the very definition of mediocre. Lets see if we can somehow finish .500 and pick 14th.

I would. But I don't blame you at all.

NO is already 39-34, so they'll surely finish with more than 41 wins.
"Tied for 15th best/15th worst record in the league" is possible at .500, but the pick would be no lower than 13.
Well, I guess we could trade down a spot or two.
Yeah, right now this nonsense is more interesting than the team.

You can listen to this if you want, I don't really recommend it though. Hornacek is doing his damndest to spin this thing on youth, on effort, on lack of consistent energy, on lack of confidence... hell I think he even blamed our players for not setting proper screens to get guys open at one point at the end. The one thing he acknowledged that I appreciated was that we are a bad shooting team. Saying something like "we can't go 2-6 on wide open shots."
i think the rankings for dragic/bledsoe are fair, but i'm not sure i'd have rose up there, or even rubio above dragic, unless youth is a factor (which apparently it isn't). towards the bottom end of the rankings it breaks down a bit.

Rubio has had one season where he has shot over 36%, and his career FG% is .367.
Rose has played 56 games over the last three seasons combined.

Seems like when we've been bad (which thankfully hasn't been that often during my time as a Suns fan), we've haven't (by in large) been bad *enough* to secure a top pick.
Weird (and slightly depressing) place to be as a fan.
*Yawn* We're just rotating guys through now. He wasn't very good in the D-league and we're letting guys with superior stats go or rot on the pine. Kind of silly to bring in a 27 year old guy instead of someone like Joe Jackson but whatever.
