Final ATL thread! The regular season ends on Wednesday then it's Playoffs time!

Nationally televised games this week.

Monday: Portland @ OKC 8:00PM EST NBATv, Memphis @ Golden State 10:30PM EST
Tuesday: Washington @ Indiana 8:00PM EST TNT, L.A. Clippers @ Phoenix 10:30PM EST TNT
Wednesday: Charlotte @ Toronto 7:00PM EST ESPN, Indiana @ Memphis 9:30PM EST[/b] ESPN

NBA News.

Westbrook scored 54 in loss to Pacers & also earned himself a technical foul which comes with an untimely automatic suspension. But in a surprise to NO ONE, OKC is expecting the league to rescind it. Oh, I wonder why that is? Should be noted that he had one rescinded from the Suns game, but Eric's bullshit double technical still stands. LINK

Fuck OKC. I will enjoy their missing the playoffs this year.

I just heard that the league did rescind the technical foul. So he will be available. Who didn't see that coming?

If OKC doesn't make the playoffs they will prob score the #1 back like the Spurs back in the day. Prediction.

Right now, at 43-37 basketball-reference.com gives them a 0.1% chance of winning the lottery. If they finish out of the playoffs they'll have the 14th-worst record in the league.

The year David Robinson was hurt and San Antonio won the lottery they were 20-62 and finished with the 3rd-worst record in the league.

I don't see a whole lot of similarity there other than a star player being hurt.

Trending up, trending down:

Trending Down: Goran Dragic

Andrew Sharp: Remember when the basketball world was convinced that Miami had lucked into Steve Nash 2.0, just in time for a late-season push? The trade deadline was a strange time. Maybe we went a little bit overboard.

Goran Dragic should be grateful that Rajon Rondo has been such a disaster in Dallas, because he’s done a nice job distracting everyone from how underwhelming Dragic has been in Miami. It’s not that his numbers are bad — 16.8 ppg, 51 percent shooting, 5.2 apg — but he also hasn’t looked that good. And he hasn’t changed Miami’s season. If he deserves a max contract this summer, shouldn’t he be good enough to carry the Heat to at least the eighth seed in a horrible East? Between Dragic and Isaiah Thomas, who’s made a bigger impact on the Eastern Conference the past six weeks? And this is the 28-year-old guard who’s supposed to make $100 million this offseason?

Welcome to 2 months ago Sharp. It's what we have all been saying. He will be in L.A. where he can have the ball in his hands every second on the floor. Wade just controls the ball too much.

Statistically no, but it would be a great storyline, no ? Anything is possible except the Suns getting the #1 pick

if monta opts out (he will), then dallas can replace him with goran on 15mil/yr deal. chandler contract expiring.

utah needs a pg too. hayward dragic in the back court. kicks trey burke to the curb.

i dont know if sacramento has enough money to offer him 15 mil/year.

suns trade away bledsoe, bring dragic back for big payday.

the least likely scenario is him signing with miami.

Klay currently with 42 points and 8 3's. Still the entire 4th to go and I'm assuming they will sit him since they are up 30 points.

I think the least likely scenario is him coming back to Phoenix, given all that happened with his 2nd exit from the Suns.

That would be something, huh? Kick Bledsoe to the curb and welcome Dragic back?

It looks like the Spurs are going to have OKC's destiny in their hands. Do they rest their guys and let the Pels in or do they give it their all and knock out the Pels?

Did they change the lottery rules? There's no way for the Suns to move up? I haven't kept caught up with rules in the last 6-7 years or so.

Do the Spurs need the win to lock up the #2 seed? I don't know who has all the various tie-breakers. If the Spurs don't need the win, you better believe they will rest/tank the game.

It looks like the Pacers are currently #8 in the East, one loss up on the Nets. That's great for them! I really would much rather watch them than Brooklyn in the 8 spot.

Also, LOL at the Heat, 10th in the East. Pathetic. Enjoy your new "max" player, Miami!
