Suns down 14-8 in the 1st. Doesn't seem to be much bounce in our step. TJ is off, only 1-6 but had a nice putback dunk. He's been missing his chippies tho. Len's being big out there with a follow up dunk and a nice turnaround baby hook on i think Portis.

Suns were down 13+ most of the first half but made a big run to cut it to 4 at halftime.

With all the talk of Mouse, Mike James has kind of slipped under the radar. He can play.
And Abby Hornacek is gorgeous.

If they don't bring Mike James to camp we might as well get a GM from the stands because its obvious they are clueless.
Also TJ Warren is the best guy on the court at all times

We might invite him to camp, but he won't make the team. We've already given his potential job to Ronnie Price.

Crazy shot by Archie seals the deal!
Well, not quite sealed, but close.

Warren was 5-13 at one point looking sort of meh and then went 8 for his next 10. 13-23 for 30 points right now.
Len has looked blah and has no fouled out. (It's back to just 6 fouls from the Quarterfinals on.) Goodwin has looked ok. 6-13 for 20 points. Booker hasn't shot well today.

What a drive and pass by James to get Warren to the line

Booker is already a better player than Goodwin. With the addition of Sonny Weems, Archie is going to have a really tough time earning minutes this season.

Looks like we get extra basketball. Suns advance to the semi-finals. 91-84

I know it's dangerous to read too much into the summer league, but I love what Booker and Warren have showed. Really good signs.

Hard to criticize Warren after he drops 30 points, but I was really hoping he would use the summer league and offseason to develop a consistent 3. It's a shot he absolutely has to have at the 3 position in today's NBA. We already know he has an NBA level midrange and inside game, that was obvious last year and coming out of college.

I was also hoping TJ would show more range but it seems like his game is what it is. His shot is a bit flat and compact, which works when you're 6-8 and shooting from midrange, but you can see he just doesn't have the range to step out to 23 ft. Kind of like Grant Hill, who was near automatic from midrange but really had to work to get more lift on his shot to be a 3pt threat; and even then, it's not like he became a 3pt shooter by any means.
It will be interesting to see how TJ can be incorporated into the lineup/offense because he's not a 3pt shooter. Hopefully he can work well with Teletovic, who can space the floor with his 3pt shoot. Our guys have also done a pretty good job of finding TJ as a cutter along the baseline in the halfcourt, so hopefully that continues. He just knows how to move without the ball and find open holes in the defense.
In the end, TJ may be best suited off the bench as a microwave type. He can score with the ball without any plays run for him, but he's not a great defender, passer or even rebounder. I wish he'd show more on the boards in the SL, only averaging about 3.5
Booker vs Archie...one's a basketball player, the other plays basketball. Booker is a silky smooth player, knows how to play. Just can't say enough about him. Physically, he seems about the same size as Bradley Beal, maybe a bit bigger but more willing to put the ball on the floor and try and get to the line. Much more comfortable putting up the jumper tho. His handles are strong tho as well, and I think someone else mentioned JJ Reddick in comparison, which I think is actually pretty spot on.
Archie's definitely come along from a skills standpoint. His jumper off the dribble looked good, his body's really improved and he's got the size/athleticism. I worry about his body language, attitude tho. He's playing as if he knows he's not part of the future or simply doesn't want to be. Very stoic, no emotion even on strong plays/finishes where he gets fouled. He just looks like he doesn't even want to be there. Not very engaged.
Mike James and McConnell looked good, but we're just stacked at PG. James could stick with a team, McConnell I'm not so sure.

Jeff is 6'4". She looks to be about four inches shorter, or about 6' even.
Of course, it's impossible to tell from this picture, or SDC's video, if she's wearing heels.

You can pretty much guarantee that she is wearing heels. With a chance to be on national tv and get her name out there she has been dressed up and glued to Coach all summer league. It is a smart way to get attention and boost her public profile.

Her online college profile listed her as 5'10". Maybe she has grown a little but 5'10" is still pretty tall for a woman.
