3 games last week, 3 losses. The Suns are in full on tank mode. Bask in the joy of futility below. Sadly they plan on national Tv against the Spurs on Tuesday. TNT should flex in any other game on the schedule instead.

@ Boston Celtics
LOSS 117-103
@ Minnesota Timberwolves
LOSS 117-87

Probably the best distributor on the team.

Yeah, they are just embarrassingly bad right now. One of the rare times I wish they weren't on national TV. I'm just glad I watch in the privacy of my home.

I think we can mark them down for three more losses this week too!

If the Spurs had a JV team, they'd run them out against the Suns ...

This is a great opportunity for Pop to rest his Big 3.

In pen too. No pencils needed here.

To say we suck would be a compliment.

"The first thing I do every morning is check the standings," McDonough said. "And somehow were still [4½ games] out with a half a season to go. So we’re not waving the white flag. The main decision for us over the next five weeks between now and the trade deadline is, which way do we want to go? We’re still weighing both sides. Do we want to try to add and make a run at the playoffs? Or do we want to look longer term and maybe add a few more young guys to build with our young core?
Dither much?

Talking about winning when you have been easily the worst team for weeks now is absolutely meaningless although as a GM you can't publicly claim that you want to start a firesale or lose for draft odds.
So I don't care what he says, only what he does. After the deadline we'll see what's the state of the team.

Yup; that is a very reasoned attitude to have. Words are wind. You know nothing, Jon Snow.

I guess to me waving the white flag does not mean fire sale. It means that he's smart enough to know that trying to make the playoffs this year would be detrimental to the rebuilding process. You have to a tank hard for top 3. Anything outside of that doesn't help us.
I don't believe there is anything out there that we could get with what we have to offer (players only) that will turn us into a playoff team. Nobody wants Markieff. Tucker would get us nothing more than a 2nd rounder or a young unproven player. Chandler, I am not sure. If he had only 1 or 2 years left maybe but 3 more with the way he looks probably make him unmovable.
Tele, Knight, Tucker, Goodwin, Leuer are the only movable assets IMO. Booker, Warren,Len you keep. Len should only be moved in the right deal.

I'm very in to the idea of going after young bench guys who can't see the floor. Mitch McGary comes to mind.

I apologize for being a broken record, but when is this team going to trade some of the crap on it? I kept hearing the 15th, but nothing has happened. I want something to give me a reason to at least be interested.

So. Building a team.
What player(s) are out there that are potential stars that are hidden on the rosters of other teams. Players like KJ in Cleveland or Joe Johnson in Cleveland. These should be players that the Suns should pursue. They should be better than what we have, not just roster depth.

I saw a rumor on another site of Love+Mozgov for Chandler+Kieff+Tucker+pick. Would any of you guys do that deal? I'd be pretty tempted. I still like Kevin Love and think he would be better on a different team.

Depends on the pick. Cleveland pick. Yes, all day long. Our pick this year, or in any future year? Nope. Giving up future picks when you are bad is the easist way to end up like the Knicks or Nets. You have to guard those things with your life. Only giving them up if they are HIGHLY protected.
