He's done. This "too soon to determine" is BS. An ultrasound takes 5 minutes. You rather have one or you don't. The fact the agent didn't just turn the story down means yes.
Unless they don't see one and want to repeat it in a week, which is done in rare occasions.

Too soon to determine if he is done for good is different than too soon to see if he has a clot in his calf, right?
I think it'll go down with Nique in 87 among the great robberies in dunk contest history.

I can't help but think that there is a deal to be made by Houston and Washington for Dwight Howard.

Sean Marks was offered the Nets GM job over Bryan Colangelo.

I saw that and thought "typical". BK needs a legit, tried and true exec to try and right the ship. Instead, they're trying to copy the spurs model and go with one of their guys. Not saying the idea isn't right, but going with a rook exec at this point will only delay things further. Just my two cents.
That ownership/management group doesn't know what they don't know.

Completely accurate. They are hoping some of that Spurs stink rubs off on 'em. Take it from a Suns fan... constantly hiring 1st timers is not the way to go about rebuilding a club.

But companies do it all the time. I see it time and time again, where companies are more happy to hire a guy/gal for a role with so little info, compared to someone they know a lot about. The more you know about someone, the more you focus on their faults. "Potential" is another word for "hasn't screwed up enough yet."

And now, Marks is either deciding against the job or has flat out declined the offer (depending on who's reporting) and Prokhorov's response has been "I've never met or heard of that guy". Classy.
