You know, when I start to think about the team and the rest of the season, I have to say that I feel a lot better knowing that M******f is gone. We still suck, but we'll get a great draft pick, and now we have that Wiz pick to go with it. We still need to find a real coach in the offseason (Please don't renew Watson, McDo/Saver!), and we still need to FIX THE POINT. But it's one thing at a time. I'm glad they got rid of that cancerous Kieff and glad that we can just move on a little.
Same goals for this game as every game: Hope Booker gets a ton of minutes and he, Len, Goodwin get lots of shots up and experience.

I am with you on this. If he wants to be a teacher, then let him teach these last 30 games or so. If that goes well, give him the job. First, no great coach would want to come here right now. Second, which great coaches are out there again? Third, even in a rosy-colored world, we are years away from being a top 7-8 team in the league. We have time.

What's the word on Leuer? I like the guy a lot. Is he ready to play again? How long is he out?

He's ready. His DNPs have been of the CD variety.
Will be interesting to see how we handle our PF rotation with all of them on expiring deals but being at similar talent levels.

From DNP's to starting.
I actually kinda wish he would start Mirza. I always liked the way Leuer and Len played together.

More from Coro:
“Our main scorer is still our main scorer,” Suns interim head coach Earl Watson said. “It’s Devin Booker, a 19-year-old. I mean it’s a dream come true. Who knows? He might leave and get pizza. Who knows what his pregame ritual is.”
The Suns’ leading scorers are now Booker (10.6), Mirza Teletovic (10.0) and Archie Goodwin (9.2). The need arises for players to step up and coaches to become creative after a 2-24 stretch, the worst 26-game stretch in franchise history.
“For us, it’s an opportunity for Jon Leuer to step up,” Watson said. “For Mirza, who we all love to see play and he’s playing great lately, it’s an opportunity for us to be more creative with him. We’re going to need him scoring.
The Suns might be more inclined to use Kris Humphries, acquired in Thursday’s Morris trade, with Len out. Humphries passed his physical after arriving in Phoenix on Friday and warmed up on the practice court with assistant coach Corey Gaines.

Yay, Suns! I'm watching this one live. I have been missing them during the long All-Star break. Even if they stink and will probably lose, it's still fun.

I like the way we play on both ends better when Leuer is on the floor. Why has this guy been buried on the bench?

Everybody is declaring the Rockets dead and burying them this year. But I think they still have a pretty decent team. Harden hogs the ball, but he's the 2nd-leading scorer in the NBA and is still a deadly weapon. And they say he and Howard don't get along, but I don't know that for certain. As long as they can produce on the court, that's what really matters. They have a lot of decent role players too, like Ariza and Beverley and Brewer. I still think they could be a tough out in the playoffs, though I would not pick them against any of the current top 3.

Well, you know how it is when a team is loaded with talent.
Not.
