I'm afraid we're going to win another one. Suns have a lot of confidence right now. Knicks don't.
Go Suns!!!

So, who would like to see a Phoenix win tonight? Who would like to see Brandon Knight suit up?

We need to play Knight if we want to trade him this summer. We have already lost that opportunity with Bledsoe. The question is: Is it worth the 4th or 5th pick versus the 3rd pick to get BK's value up around the league?

Well there is a chance he plays like crap so no. I understand what your saying he needs to prove he's healthy, but I'd just shut him down.

If he plays like crap his value doesn't really go anywhere, and we keep our "standing" in the lottery.

Good point, but I mean as much as people dislike Knight we are a better team, probabaly much better, with him in the lineup so even if he plays average or slightly above it increases are chances of winning dramatically. If he's out there turding it up people might say it's because of the injury and he needs surgery etc etc. I just don't see the benefit in playing him now that we have an actual PG (Price) back as opposed to an SG playing PG (Goodwin).

I am not sure. Today was his first practice, so I doubt he plays.

Suit up as in wear a nice suit while he sits behind the players bench? Yes please! Suit him up.

I am not a huge advanced-stats guy, but he is only 9th on the team in Win Shares. 12th in WS/48, 12th in Offensive Rating, and 13th in Defensive Rating. I realize he has talent, but it doesn't translate well into wins for this team.

I actually believe in Knight's ability to put up numbers while keeping us just as bad as we are without him. Our expensive guards have been very good at losing us games this season.

I'm with EDC on this, Knight has an uncanny ability to make others around him worse, while simultaneously sucking until he finds a hot streak for himself. He's very helpful in losing, but not so helpful in helping Len and Booker get better.

What exactly was Knight's injury? A groin pull and a hernia?

At least that probably isn't an injury that will be chronic or worsen his performance for the rest of his career. Unlike, say, having no cartilage in both of your surgically repaired knees.

This is basically what caused KJ to miss so many games. Of course, the major reason was that it was not diagnosed as anything but a hamstring injury for a couple years, and then it took surgery to fix.

It's the same type of injuries that shortened the promising career of Michael Dickerson, sweet-shooting perimeter player off the UofA NCAA championship team that had a couple of good years with the Grizzlies.

A sports hernia. This is the first I've seen it not fixed via surgery. It's a common injury in football & it's almost always surgically repaired.

I think we have come a long way in sports medicine since the days of KJ and Dickerson. They didn't even know what was wrong with KJ for years and until he'd already missed many games.
