Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
Looks like Minnesota won't be happening now unless Durant changes his mind. I'm not unhappy about this in itself. It does reduce the Suns' leverage.

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
The Suns need to get over next season; they've dug themselves that no single trade is going to undo it. I knew this grit and grime garbage was going to be another hinderance in this team making good decisions. Get Ware because he is a talented, young big on a rookie deal; this "soft" foolishness is ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
I see promising reports and then not so promising reports. https://x.com/PHNX_Suns/status/1934648984322417049 Really simple. KD is trying to engineer a trade to a favored team for a terrible return, using re-signing as a bargaining chip. The Suns are like "go fuck yourself" and talking to other ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
I'm liking the media circus that's materializing. Bodes well for a good return. I don't like the idea of taking on older players like Gobert. I do like the idea of a youth movement with proven young players. I don't mind players in their prime such as Zubac. I'd love to get the Suns' future draft ...

Re: Suns Hire Jordan Ott as new Head Coach
It's hard to know when "it's over," when an era of your team is behind you. We had the Book/CP3/Mikal/etc. era, that's over now. Then we had the Book/KD era, which is likely over this summer. The next era seems to be the Book rebuild era. I don't think it is going to be a bright and happy time for ...

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I'm the first guy to support tearing this team down and doing a full rebuild. But we are in a bit of a unique situation in that we don't own any of our own picks until 2032. This means that the standard strategy of "tank and suck and you'll get good lottery picks so you can rebuild in a few years ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
He’s 31, not turning 37 like those two. And he won MVP only 2 years ago. I’m just saying I would take the chance over trading for somebody like Randle or Anunoby, especially if you could get a couple good picks as well. Id rather acquire players who will play, obviously nobody wants Randle lol Gia ...

Re: Suns News: Weeks 24 & 25 (3/31 - 4/13)
I'm looking forward to next year, when we somehow put together a collection of hungry young guys that outperform around Booker. Say what you will about James Jones but he's shown a knack for picking up underrated talent out of the lottery. Let him do what he's good at, GET RID OF DURANT for maximal ...

Re: Suns News: Week 23 (3/24 - 3/30)
So I think this flew under the radar but a stretch and waive of Beal doesn't look possible. A team is only allowed 15% of the cap to be "dead" money, which would be about $23mil overall next year. Stretching Beal would be around $22 per season but the Suns have already stretched Liddell and Little ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
It's all fool's gold. They've played really well for what, 4 games? Bless their hearts. And maybe 1 of those 4 games was a tough game? Outside of the admittedly impressive CLE win, what have they done exactly? Played well for about a week and a half against teams they should always ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem
You have to cash out on KD before he’s essentially worthless. The time to trade him was last year or at the deadline, but you certainly can’t wait beyond this summer. He could get injured or start declining at any moment, not to mention his age itself will start turning teams off from giving up any ...

Re: POLL: Budenholzer’s future
It doesn't bother anyone that he sat Dunn and Oso for 6 weeks while the team played lifeless losing basketball. He has chosen to play the highest salaried players over the other guys like Dunn, Oso and Gillespie. He actually played Martin and what I have seen from that guy, he can have Allen's ...
