Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency 2 (new)

I'd take Randle as the centerpiece in a S&T for Bledsoe in a heartbeat, but I think RW is right that he can't be dealt right now.

Re: Around the League: July 2014

What LeBron needs to realize is that he is in the same situation that Nash was in when he returned to Phoenix. The only difference is that LeBron is a superior player which bodes well for LeBron. Just as Nash took the young core of Amare-Marion-JJ from sub-.500 to a 60-win team, so can LeBron. Exce...

Yup, XB1. Based on my research there isn't much of a difference in performance that I would actually notice, and pretty much everyone I know uses Xbox.

Speaking of changes, did you catch this? http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/adam-silver-floats-the-idea-of-las-vegas-hosting-a-midseason-nba-tournament--for-whatever-reason-175245017.html The popularity of the summer league in Las Vegas – with attendance up 25 percent, Silver said – ha...

Re: Video Games

I just bought a Xbox One recently (sorry 'bone) and the only game I play is FIFA14. I really dislike what EA does ethically with many of their sports games, but I'm freaking hooked on it anyway. I started a manager career with Everton on Legendary difficulty (the highest) and was canned after about ...

Re: Around the League: July 2014

cleveland doesnt want to trade wiggins for Love. Most of us dont want to trade dragic for Love (unless he sings that extension). No team wants to trade anybody really valuable for Love. Mostly because Love is not promising to resign to wherever he's traded. If he was committed to signing long term ...

Kind of excited to see Yedlin and Dempsey return vs the Timbers on nat'l tv tomorrow. That was a shit show as a Timbers supporter. And I think everyone needs to calm down all this Yedlin hyperbole. He's benefitting from having low expectations going into the WC more than anything else. I'm happy fo...

One could argue that Ghana was the most impressive team to not make it out of the group stage. Clearly they were a divided group for various reasons ($$$), but that frequently seems to be the case with the African teams.

So you're thinking third place this year?

Cheap shot, I'm sorry. But I'm really not. It's just too much fun to poke Gooners.

Re: Isaiah Thomas to Suns in Sign and Trade

I don't understand why some people are certain that signing IT2 means Bledsoe or Dragic have one foot out the door. We know saw how potent Bledsoe and Dragic were together, and how the team struggled when that chemistry was disrupted. Bringing in a legitimate third guy to add to that rotation ensure...

Re: Everything Soccer

dont you think the USA is better off with CONCACAF and CONMEBOL merged? so that winning the gold cup becomes more meaningful. I don't know. I'm pretty torn on this idea. On one hand, it could potentially help us develop players to the next level by constantly playing quality opponents, as opposed t...

I think we'll see Len operate primarily out of the pivot. Don't want to get too far ahead here, but I see a lot of potential in him to play like Tim Duncan on the offensive end.

Too bad Cotton was the brains behind that operation. Typical Brooklyn move.
