They missed their chance by not trading Paul at the deadline. His injury likely diminished his value to basically nothing so it's partially bad luck, but they should've moved him with some of their younger assets for a guy like Siakam.

Batum would be incredible…he’s a free agent this summer…but he’d have to take the EG discount…not likely.

I wouldn’t rule it out now. It’s a relationship league and we never really know who these guys connect with behind the scenes.
