Re: 2024 Playoffs: Suns-Timberwolves Round 1 News Thread

Pick swap is only a problem if ours is higher than the other team's, right?

Re: 2024 NBA Draft

Don't draft for need, it never works. Draft the best guy available, then trade him or, if he's good enough to take the rotation spot, trade the other guy.

Re: Season In Review: Rating

B+. Frustrating and inconsistent. Ended on a high note with the best playoff path forward. 4D Chess. Bradley Beal's muscle game alone gets an A+ overall. It was a B+ coming back from injury but he spent some serious time getting his muscles full and hard. It showed the final game of the regular seas...

Re: The Suns Main Issues and How to Fix

With the season ending, there's too many things I don't understand. Are they playing mindgames by looking careless and unorganized? At times, we can go 20-0. But we can either go 0-20. We definitely need to take the ball out of Book, because Point Book is not the alpha we need. We definitely need to...

Well, in the past there was that guy, the village idiot, who has an opinion on everything. And of course, you knew that and you just said whatever, it's just him. But now, all the village idiots from the world gather on social media, and they are the most active. There's also all the trolls. And don...

NBA.com Power Rankings https://www.nba.com/news/power-rankings-2023-24-week-21 ... For the season, they’ve been 14.8 points per 100 possessions better with Nurkic on the floor (plus-9.7) than they’ve been with him off the floor (minus-15.9)... He’s 5th in scoring on the team…he’s close to Sharpe and Brogdon, but well behind Simons and Grant He’s averaged 19 ppg over his last 12 games. If he keeps trending in the direction he has been, he’ll get closer to Simons. But I’m saying if they had traded Grant when he was eligible to be traded (b...

I think it’s more nefarious than that. The NBA actually has a revenue stream from gambling now. So it is in their best interest for certain outcomes. Stop thinking you’re watching actual competition and realize you’re watching WWE, it’ll help with your mental health.

Oh come on, the refs screwed them. Point. At best, they didn't have the balls to whistle against NY in NY. At worst, they had money on it. And I am always amazed how people say it's the players fault. You have to win despite the refs/NBA clearly not wanting you to win, and that's ok? And I'm not onl...

Clippers are really contenders this year but they're waiting for that since 2019. We might have to wait a year or two to get there. We need continuity. Still, I got the impression Vogel is using the regular season to experiment, a lot. We're not used to it, it can be disorienting. This team is defin...

Didn't watch. Then I saw Book's highlights on youtube and gave it a try. Stopped after 2 plays, disgusted by the lack of D and motivation.
Watching trained mices playing ball was more interesting than that. Really.
