Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I’d feel ok if we moved Nas Little with the 2 1sts for a stud wing on a rookie deal. Here’s a few that might qualify(some would only be worth one 1st…some we couldn’t get for both): Shaedon Sharpe, Taylor Hendricks, Jarace Walker, Moses Moody, Zaire Williams, Dyson Daniels, Jeremy Sochan, Cason Wal...

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
If I'm being frank, they should keep Frank. We don't know the dynamic behind the scenes. Frankly, Frank may have been doing a great job, but everyone else sucked. Seems unpopular around, but I still think running it back with minor tweaks is the best option of the limited crappy options available. D...

I'm still skeptical that there's a trade out there that makes sense. We will see though.

I'm good with that. It's the ideas to trade for backups and smalls that I'm not getting.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 3:27 pmI think we could do better with a Pick and Roll center than Nurk.

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
I'm not understanding all these ideas to trade Nurkic for a small or a career backup. What is the thought process behind that? You all do understand that the Suns would no longer have a starting center, right?

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
Here’s the guys that make less than Nurk that we could trade for by attaching the pick: Rui Hachimura - LA won’t be interested Mitchell Robinson - don’t think NY would be interested Lu Dort - OKC probably not interested, but maybe if Jokic kills their lack of size? Luke Kennard - he’s another Grays...

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
I hope you’re right…I think we’re gonna try and attach it to Nurk or Little to get a better player. I'd like an upgrade over Nurk, but I don't know who that is. The type of player I want, a defensive rim runner like Jarrett Allen or Mitchel Robinson, is unavailable or out of reach. I also think the...

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
I think they keep the pick and the player they pick. It is one of the few ways to add salary; in this case: $2,562,200 in the first year. They need players to send to the new g league team if nothing else.

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
Suns press conference went as expected. Continuity is the only option that provides a chance at competing for a championship next season. Everything else is a step back, including a coaching change.

Re: 2024 Suns Offseason: Where do we go from here?
Easy fix: 1. Draft Edey as backup C. 2. Sign CP3 back with vet min. 3. Sign LeBron for vet min. 4. Move Beal & Allen to the bench and have a bench of Beal, Allen, O'Neal, Bol and Edey. 5. Get an offense that uses KD correctly. I'm halfway kidding, because I think this is highly highly unlikely....

From my experience re-turning an ankle before it's fully healed hurts like freakin' hell, and the reaction and pain may make the injury seem worse than it really is. It looked like his ankle turned enough though that I'm doubtful he plays in tonight's game.

Re: 2024 Suns General Offseason News
I agree. He rides this team at least one more year. There aren't really any other options where the team is competitive. Look at the wolves for inspiration. They looked bad last season only to stick with it and be near the top of the league most of this season. .

Re: 2024 Playoffs: Suns-Timberwolves Round 1 News Thread
As a franchise we have been blessed with some of the best point guards to play in the NBA for the last 30 years at least. I haven't been on the "We need a PG no matter what" bandwagon. I was anxious to see what point-book or point-beal could do. I figured they could figure it out. Now I k...

Okay, my real thoughts. Absolutely, the Suns can win this game. I expect playoff coaching phenom Frank Vogel (I'm being serious..kinda) will make the necessary adjustments and properly motivate the team. Expect lots of energy immediately after tip, similar to the final game of the season. Gordon bre...

Who's he motivating? If the players require this to motivate them, then they've already lost!

Okay. I'll just say that due to the dispersion of the dataset, there is significant error present in the calculation of the blue line. In any case, we should be plotting points scored vs minutes spent with his girlfriend, or something like that, if you want to correlate Book's love life with his gam...

If anyone wants a regression of GmSc vs time, here it is: https://i.postimg.cc/G4mwHksh/880-C6-E4-F-BA85-4922-A16-F-336154-EDA0-F7.png The correlation isn’t super strong, but it’s a negative downward trend over time. Meets the eye test. Uh... Those data are so scattered, there is no way to draw any...
