Re: Suns News: Week 12 1/12-1/18
Haven't been a fan of Plumlee's play this year at all but, since being benched he has done better as the backup. Now with Wright taking his minutes he has been stepping it up some and seems to have hands almost now. Going from starter to the third string Center has to motivate you a little bit. Stil...

Yeah, how many times have we seen that happen watching basketball? One team is up gettng near halftime and gets lethargic and the other team gets desperate, overplays, gambles and a lot of times it pays off. It must drive coaches crazy.

Re: Suns Commentators - What Do You Think?
Thanks Indy and thanks for posting the season ticket holders conference interview stuff. That was great. I also met Alvin Gentry a couple of times when he was the coach. He belonged to a church I played at a few times. They had a Halloween thing going on for the kids and Alvin and his wife showed up...

Re: Suns Commentators - What Do You Think?
Al has that gift of making you be able to see the game without being there. I met him and his wife once about 8 years ago at a resturaunt I was doing a solo gig at. They came up to me as they were leaving and complimented me. Super nice people. I am sad his wife passed. He is an accomplished pianist...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
That's a great idea Indy and I have thought about that as well except for one thing, oil. If we completely pulled out of that part of the world what would happen? Our presence there is what is holding back a lot of bad things from happening. Here is a bunch of good articles asking the same questions...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
We import a lot of oil and yet we are the leading producer of oil in the world. Obviously we used a hell of a lot more than everybody else does.

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Nodack, I don't want to ignore your long post, but I don't have it in me to respond line by line. Yes, there have been conflicts between the West and Islamic nations for a very long time. Frankly, it's no longer relevant today. We can't do anything about it. Unless there were something that one sid...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Your Church sounds Moderate Dan. From your Church's site. We do not, cannot, and will not endorse homosexual activity as a lifestyle; just as we cannot, do not, and will not endorse all other kinds of behaviors that displease God. But we also do not, cannot, and will not endorse condemning, hate-fil...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
I understand you were trying to "defend the Muslims," perhaps in worry that there would be people on the forum coming in and blaming this on the religion, not the perpetrators. But that never happened. Also, what is the value in rehashing the conversation about the entire history of Musli...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
I had a response to your question about who in the west would agree that Muslims have any legit reasons to be upset with America, but I deleted it before posting because it's irrelevant to this thread. Ghost has a point. Asking the question why would Muslims be so angry enough to kill people in Par...

Re: Meet up for a game next week (Tuesday)
We stayed long enough to watch the Sports Center highlights of the game. First they showed a video of Lebron scoring. Then they showed a video of Lebron scoring later on in the game. Next they showed a video of Lebron scoring even later in the game. Then they showed a video of JR. Smith scoring. Th...

Then if the discussion is only limited to the events in Paris alone then I would say yes, it was a dispicable attack and over a cartoon no less.

But nobody's attacking Muslims, so I don't know why they need defending. :) For the past decade we sent our military into several Muslim countries and killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims and continue to drop bombs on Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria every day. Most of them are the "b...
