Re: Terror attack in Paris
Ghost, I know I sound like I am defending the terrorists, but I am not. I think there are always two sides to every disagreement and I don't think there are any Muslims here to defend their religion or people, so I took it upon myself to play devils advocate for them. I think the general opinion of ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
I think Indy is right: religious leaders are very important for muslims because the Coran is complex and can have many different interpretations. Therefore many muslims choose to follow blindly what the Imam says... One could say religious leaders are very important for Christians because the Bible...

Spurs/Lakers, same thing. Always a must win just because the Lakers/Spurs deserve to lose to us.

Re: Terror attack in Paris
And as you said Zeratul, the culture in France is not very welcoming of Muslims. It breeds a "me against the world" attitude to begin with, and then it becomes much easier to accept the crazy preaching of an Imam. It is kind of like inner-city gang culture, or even neo-nazi and white supr...

Morris supposedly apologized to the team and on Twitter for going off on the coach. Hornacek didn't seem very upset in his post game interview saying it was just an emotional player in the heat of the moment.

Re: Big Unit in the Hall of Fame
Randy won the big prize. Charles came fairly close. Game set match. I loved Charles, but I also hated Charles. It's pretty obvious he never listened to anybody except himself. Sometimes he was unstoppable, but not always. On those games when he didn't have it going he would still demand the ball in ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Even though I don't believe in either religions, I believe people believe in those religions. Knowing that defacing the Koran or drawing pictures of Mohamed are punishable by death in their part of the world I would probably respect their beliefs and not do it. Doing it is legal in the US and France...

Re: Sony / The Interview / North Korea
I think North Korea is just the latest boogeyman to make us scared and feed the news cycle. They're harmless. I wouldn't say harmless, but maybe harmless to the US for the most part. They could easily make it a real bad day in SK which would make it a real bad day for the U.S. and China. They do th...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
That's true. We have to have somebody to fight at all times to justify the amount we spend on our military. At the same time we do need a strong military to keep other powers from exerting their "manifest destiny". It is a balancing act and a huge game of world chess always being played. W...

Re: Meet up for a game next week (Tuesday)
Count me in! I remember the first one where I was a dumb ass and bought tickets to the Suns game for a bunch of people I didn't know hoping they would show and pay me back. Strangely enough every person showed up with cash. We did the Majerle's last game and showed up after the game and got autograp...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Am saddened by the attack, but not surprised. I'm Agnostic. I look at Muslims and Christians the same. The two sides believe in two different books and believe each other to be following a false religion. Even in their own religions there are different sects that each one believe to be the right and...

Len vs. Valanciunas should be good. I thought he held his own pretty well. I liked that the Suns didn't mess around and doubled and trippled Valanciunas early and it paid off. Len kept them honest and his team mates found him a number of times for easy dunks unlike the last game. It's like football...

Nice post Mori. You have matured a lot yourself over the years. Sorry that Swingman left. I got to know him over the years and even went to a bar and watched him play drums once. He was a fun happy guy to hang out with. Something made him change at some point and he became an angry guy. The same hap...

Re: Game Day: 76ers (4-26) @ Suns (18-16), Fri 1/2/15
Oh yeah basketball. Len is really coming on. I agree with others that Len is being completely ignored in the post. He tries to get great position and they don't throw him the ball. He sets up for the pick and roll and instead of getting the ball on the roll to the basket it always goes someplace els...

Cubby is pure poison. He is pure evil. His only goal is to piss off people. He is the entire reason this site exists. It was created to allow people a place to go to talk about the Suns without that Assbite gaining entrance and trying to ruin it for everybody. Anybody that wants him here either does...

Awesome game! The fans got their money's worth. The bad guys squeaked out a win, but we almost squeaked out the win ourselves. They played with fire and left it all on the court. Works for me. There is some bad blood there.
