Re: THE PLAYOFF PUSH

Sacto has owned us because they have two players that are unguardable for us in Thomas and Cousins. Dragic just can't keep up with most PGs, and Isaiah is a demon with his speed and strenght, despite his height, and he is crafty too. Cousins, well, he is just too much for any of our frontcourt playe...

Re: Suns News: Week of 4/7 to 4/13

Very nice. Dragic-Frye is the best pick and 'roll' combo in the L, and the other three seem to fit pretty well. Bledsoe has had a visible impact on Miles, and PJ is going to do his thing regardless.

Re: Around the League: Week of 4/7 - 4/13

I don't know if they'll keep him, but they'll have space and I guess at least they'll have to consider giving him relevant money, given his play and the asset invested. He's been quite solid for the Wizards, and his pick and roll with Wall has worked well. His defense has not been as bad as last yea...

Re: Was there a plan to grow their beards during playoff pus

I don't recall if PJ still had his beard in last night's game, but that dude looks so much fiercer with facial hair. We need any extra edge we can get, and if a beard adds a little bit of an intimidation factor, Tucker needs to put down the razor until the offseason begins. Yeah, he should ke...

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

Isn't Capela the typical athletic but raw and unskilled big man prospect? Capela has shown an ability knock down jumpers and handle the ball on the perimeter. Yes, what has picked my attention is an ability to put the ball on the floor and also good vision for passes, besides his speed and lenght. ...

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

Besides Exum who intrgues people out of the international guys? Saric? Nurkic? Capela? Me personally am intrigued by Capela. I would consider him at 19, but the way its going he may be a darkhorse for the late lottery. I think Capela and Nurkic are both superior to Saric. I especially like Capela f...

Re: Game Day: Suns (46-31) @ Pelicans (32-45) , Wed 4/9/14

Ish is firmly ahead of Archie in the rotation, and given what they have done on the court, I can't complain if we are fighting for a playoff berth. I'd try Len against Dallas and Memphis instead of Shavlik, but probably more due to the mathup than anything, because new guy has played decently the ro...

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

Isn't Capela the typical athletic but raw and unskilled big man prospect? Nurkic is said to be in the mold of a Pekovic, it is, a strong, more classic post scorer, but in this case also with defensive ability thanks to nice quickness for his size. I don't know who is the better prospect, but if the ...

It was the Pistons who allegedly wanted Dragic, so we had to trade up. Now it's a genius move, but at the time, two second rounders and 500k was quite a hefty price to pay for the #45 pick.

By the way, are they still bitching about Scola to Houston?

Re: Around the League: Week of 3/30 - 4/05

Maybe winning does him well. It wouldn't be the first time. But I think talking about cousins is as absurd as discussing John Wall, for instance. By the way, regarding Varejao, I absolutely love his game, but I'm afraid he is too injury prone to invest significant money. His age is not a huge concer...

Re: THE PLAYOFF PUSH

Honest questions: Do we want to make the playoffs? Do we have any chance against San Antonio or Oklahoma City in the first round? If you asked the question before the first game, I could see the point in 'competing' for Wiggins and the likes, but the way things have gone, if we end up just out of t...

Re: Will the Suns make the playoffs?

I also believe that we have played like a top team with and without Bledsoe, but it hasn't been the case for some time now. Fatigue, streakiness, etc. But the reality is that our game has left an awful lot to be desired lately, whereas the Bulls have been quite solid despite suffering their own fair...

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

So I finally started True Detective and after the first 2 episodes, I find it sluggish. Obviously I'm sure it'll pick-up all coming to a head given its mini-series format, but so far I'm not impressed. Ritual type killing is very similar to NBCs Hannibal. Here's hoping it gains steam. It's not real...

Re: Game Day: Suns (38-28) @ Nets (33-31) , Mon 3/17/14

I believe the biggest reason to Plumlee's struggles is lack of energy, because he looked so much better his first full game after coming back from injury against the Clippers, but when you are shot that's not going to last. Bledsoe out and better scouting are part of it too, but there is a clear dec...
