Re: Suns News: Week of 3/17-3/23

Who on this team didn't get a chance before? Plumlee, and in a sense Bledsoe. Ish? The rest was just not up to the challenge until this season, the Morrii and Green in particular with the exception of his stint with the Nets. Dragic, Frye and PJ have been starters before, and the rookies have been b...

Re: Will the Suns make the playoffs?

If it comes down to one or two games there will be a few to point. Washington, NY, Detroit, for instance, but if we miss the playoffs indeed it will have a lot to do with the lack of hustle showed since the Houston game.

1-1 for Green Lights off the bench, it seems.

I guess it's obvious I meant that to be less than 5% from 3. But yeah, it's remarkable he's at all effective when he can't shoot the ball. defense and somehow his rebounding are his saving grace, if Frye put in half of Smiths effort on the glass he'd be a solid player Uf, I don't know about his def...

WTF today is the classic Raptors-Suns matinee? Damn, I've already missed the first quarter, but at least we are winning so far.

It was Bledsoe against Rondo. Harden-esque.

The Raptors are dangerous, and right now they are actually a superior team. Please, let's try to do something else besides turning the game into a shootout. Pay attention to Amir's activity, Patterson and Ross' shooting, hit Valanciunas hard and often and don't let the likes of Vasquez and Salmons h...

Because absolutely nobody else can create for others, leaving aside what the twins do between them.

Re: Happy Eric Bledsoe Day!

10M is an amount I can easily live with. Starting at 10M would still be tolerable, probably up to an average of 12M per year. And throw in a trade kicker and a player option. But if he gets an o-sheet (should call those 'Oh Shit', an institution that in my opinion needs to disappear, or at the very ...

Quite ugly, indeed. Almost everybody was either off or was locked down at some point. Today at least there was some life on D. If nothing fundamentally sound, at least more hustle. Speaking of defense: Dragic, Kieff and Bledsoe won it with contributions from Len (feels good writing it, if only for t...

Re: From the comic to the screen.

Ugh to Daredevil, Ghost Rider, FF, Spiderman 3, Blade 3, Hulks, Wolverines, Hellboy (only good thing in my opinion is Selma Blair), Green Lantern. I have to watch Iron Man. I downloaded the first one and lasted 15 mins, but I'll give it a second chance. Loved Sin City, 300, Blade, Spawn in a bizarre...

I think that's what makes sense, although there seems to be data that claims otherwise regarding GG off the bench.

Re: From the comic to the screen.

The Marvel X-men movies have been great for the most part and I can’t wait for Days and future past. Marvels studios movies on the other hand have been hit or miss for me only because of overly joking nature of some of them. I understand having levity in your comic book movies but some of the recen...

Re: Happy Eric Bledsoe Day!

Might as well ask since this is a Bledsoe thread, have any of y'all decided whether or not *you* personally would match him in the off-season? ...or are ya waiting the rest of the season out to see what he looks like post-surgery? I keep him. Dragic just can't defend and we need somebody to cover h...

I don't get why people think we will miss the playoffs now. Bledsoe is back and we will be a strong team down the stretch with him and Dragic together. I still think we will make it. Have you watched the games after the allstar break? No defense whatsoever, little defensive rebouding, much less ene...

Re: 2014 NBA Draft

I'm not sure signing or not signing PJ determines if we take either Dougie McBucketts or K.A. in the draft. It shouldn't, considering they are totally different players. And consequently, resigning PJ shouldn't be contingent on the draftee, at least if it is one of those two. It's Green, and above ...

Re: Game Day: Cavs (24-40) @ Suns (36-27) , Wed 3/12/14

The above pick scenario is why I've been so conflicted about the season - we need a good pick, yet what right have I or anyone else to tell these guys to lose? I'd gladly let Minny slide into #9 in the west, giving us something 10-13 and getting Minnesota's #14 - especially if it means resting Drag...
