Re: Game Day: Mavs (0-0) @ Suns (0-0), Wed 10/28/15

They were running that weird weave play at the top of the key again last night. The same crap they went to last year after they decided it wasn't a good idea to just throw it to the center at the three point line every time down the court to start the offense. The thing they did awhile before mostl...

I know many of you are in love with Horny - maybe because he was a former player [ honestly that is the only reason I can justify your argument ] but I think the guy is an incredibly un-interesting coach in every way possible. The game yesterday was so hard to watch . It's not just Hornacek's fault...

Re: Arizona Cardinals

I think they are a balanced team and can win the game from any category, but I would love for them to be consistent with their play throughout the game and from game to game. It seems to me that when it's crunch time, Palmer gets a little off target this year. Whereas last year when they had to come...

Re: 2015-16 Season Predictions

I haven't followed the NBA as closely as I had in the past, so the only prediction that I will make pertains to the Suns. I think they will make the playoffs this year as a 7th or 8th seed . I do see them improving and maturing, Chandler, Leuer and Weems were good pick ups for this team, and I see W...

Re: Arizona Cardinals

Defensively, they looked much better. If it wasn't for a big special teams play by Jarryd Hayne, I doubt that SF would have scored. Two pick 6s, 4 interceptions, 1 safety, and only 156 total yards given up. Offensively, they looked good and would have looked even better if some of the receivers didn...

It will be interesting.

I had a dream last night that Marcus and Markieff got married to each other.

Marcus acting the part of a legendary leader again. http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/heat-index/2015/09/25/marcus-morris-says-he-shouldve-started-over-pj-tucker/72795886/ Marcus sure knows how to talk. Too bad he rarely shows it on the court. PJ might be a better defender? Ha ha ha ha ha ha! R...

Playing the "it's everyone else's fault" card, who does that sound like? I don't have the stomach anymore to follow politics.

Re: Were we 3 missed shots from taking the Bulls to 7 in 199

Jordan was godlike in those series. Nothing short of an injury would have made the Suns champions. If there is a seventh game he might have scored 60. By the way, the more old stuff I watch, the less I buy the 'defenses were better back then' rethoric, hand check and all. Yep, that's a total myth p...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)

I'm not all up in arms over the court design. Sure, put a little purple back in it...whatever. Honestly, it would be the last thing we would discuss if the quality of play on it was much much higher. I prefer simplistic/classic designs with less painting. My kid's high school redid their floor this ...

Back to Hunters Safety class for them, or take away their licenses.

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

Although it's certainly possible many of the deaths occurred from hunting, from my experience it's doubtful. I would guess it's closer to suicide. This discussion has deviated from the TV show subject, sorry about that. Maybe, but accidental shootings during hunting is higher than it should be. And...

Hmm, I found it was 4th lowest in the US in 2010 with 0.6 per 100,000 for gun murders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_viole ... s_by_state

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

Good point. NYC is pretty Liberal anyway. One thing I did notice. They are always drinking hard liquor in that family. Not that that is a bad thing. I just noticed every scene where they are not working they are drinking some hard liquor. You've never hung out with Lutherans, have you? Believ...

Re: What TV shows are you guys watching?

Lol, yeah I noticed the same thing. The one thing that my wife and I make fun of is that Danny is the superstar detective in NYC. All the big cases go through him exclusively. Makes me wonder how good any of the other detectives in the city are.
