Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency

Honestly, I'd rather just wait for a good trade, the draft, or free agency next year. Next year's draft is going to have about three guys with higher upside and skills on the block. It's probably going to be loaded at the PF and C positions.

Plus, I still have high hopes for Alex Len.

Ha ha. Talk about deep digging journalism.
Doesn't LeBron spend most of his time in Akron in the Summer? I'm guessing these trucks do this run every summer.

Or they are starting to stalk his friends now. They are doing everything they can to make it enticing.

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency

With Frye gone, I think that's a really good idea. He might not be the most talented player at his position, but he offers so much more than just production on the court and he keeps working on his game and offers a toughness and grit that's contagious all the way down the line in the roster.

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency

Oh, and please just don't go after Deng. Pau still makes sense for this roster but spending on those two means not more cap space and it's far from a given that they can live up to the length of their contracts, unless it is two years. SF and a (two way) big man are our most glaring weaknesses but ...

Re: Around the League: July 2014

Good, I hope LBJ goes home, Cleveland fans have it the worst in all sports  Worse at what? Worst Front Offices? They don't even have a hockey team, boo hoo. They pick their players for the Brown, yeah Gordon and Johnny Football, once again boo hoo for them. They've been good in baseball. Yeah,...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency

Just speculating here, but maybe Hayward went to Charlotte, found he would really fit in well with the rest of the team there. They offered him the max, which Utah can still match, you can't get better money anywhere. So, Charlotte tells him that if he goes to Phoenix, the offer is off the table. Wh...

Re: Suns Summer League 2014

Some BSOTS talk about the development plans for Alec Brown. http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2014/7/8/5883125/alex-brown-in-the-fast-lane I said the same thing upon reading about Frye's departure (and even a bit beforehand) a few days ago and damn near everyone here poo-pooed all over the idea lik...

Re: SUNS 2014: Free Agency

Why is Scream'n A Smith such an @$$hat? What'd he do this time? He's claiming very arrogantly that Phoenix and Houston aren't marquee cities to lure marquee players. Even though the last big free agent to go to NY was Amare, only because the Suns couldn't guarantee him for anything past 3 years. If...

Another thing, the Suns stuck by him for an entire year while he was going through a life threatening situation and paid him the entire year, while bring him back. How about some love in return? I'm totally unfollowing him on twitter and instagram. That will show him.

Re: Around the League: July 2014

The cavs are a joke. What's really turned me off to them is Gilbert's letter being on their website for 4 years and then taken down 2 days ago. Why even leave it up for 4 years? Who's genius idea was that. Talk about not moving on... That's incorrect. People are reporting that like it's fact. It wa...

Re: Around the League: July 2014

Frye leaves his hometown team, where he grew up, played High School ball at, played at the in state school, and yet leaves town for a Florida team chasing the money. Why isn't everyone outside burning his jerseys and poster? BOOO, We didn't deserve this!!!!! Poor me....

Yes, Ainge is sneaking under the radar again. If the Suns wouldn't have had a shot at getting LeBron, I could have seen them trying to get in on something like this.

Re: Around the League: July 2014

I agree, yet just this morning on Dan Patrick's show, his fill in said that over and over, while he was interviewing a Cavs reporter on how they were feeling and what this would do if by all indications he goes back to Cleveland. WTF!!!
