The bot thing is obviously just an excuse concocted by Musk to try to get out of his purchase deal and/or drive the price down. The fact that some decently large percentage of Twitter users are bots is completely obvious public knowledge that anybody with even a passing knowledge of social networks...

There are also a lot of bot accounts on Twitter, that also spread misinformation to attack other users, along with these "fake" users. After using it long enough, you see them all over the place. I just don't know if I would want to buy something like that. It certainly needs to be cleaned...
