Re: Impeachment
You don't let extortion slide for an entire term. That's what these impeachment rules are for and that's why they're being exercised. Once again agreed fully. And if they weren't trying to impeach him from day one before he had a chance to do anything wrong I could see spending the time to investig...

Re: Impeachment
You think I wish that the President of the United States of America bribed another country for personal gain by sacrificing Ukraine's fighting a war? That is the last thing I wish for as a US citizen. Not necessarily. What I do know is that there has been talk of impeaching President Trump since be...

Re: Impeachment
On another note. Hunter Biden getting a job working for the Ukraine oil company under investigation while Joe Biden was taking credit for getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired was a bad optic. I had my doubts about Biden after that and wouldn’t mind someone looking into it further. Tuesday the State...

Re: Impeachment
I am not sure how else you can interpret that conversation if you read it for yourself. It is blatant. I've read it many times. I did not get that out of it at all. I can see how it could be interpreted that way but it is not clear at all and if I hadn't heard that interpretation from someone else ...

Re: Impeachment
He bribed Ukraine while they were fighting a war with Russia to publicly announce an investigation into his primary electoral opponent. This is exactly what the impeachment process was put in the Constitution to address. That is indeed one possible interpretation of his discussion on the phone call...

Re: Impeachment
Overall I find this very educational. So rarely do we learn the inner workings of our government and how it interacts with other governments. This appears to simply be differences in opinions of policy and how it is executed. The President is the only one who sets foreign policy not ambassadors or o...

Re: Impeachment
I could be wrong but shouldn't this former ambassador have filed a suit in civil court for wrongful termination instead of complaining about being fired to Congress?

Re: Democratic Primary Debates
On Kamala, I thought Gabbard did a very good job of hitting her in the face about her justice department scandal, and she had no response. I like Kamala based on what I know so far, and love that she is tough, but I do worry about an overzealous prosecutor that withheld exculpatory evidence. That i...

Re: Democratic Primary Debates
Wow, I had a very different take. You think Marianne Williamson is the adult on the stage? I think she's a joke and won't be in the next debate. Good riddance. She's a crazy crystals and yoga lady who has no business running for President. Thinking a celebrity is a serious candidate just because of...

Re: Democratic Primary Debates
Did anybody else watch the first of two Detroit debates last night? My take on it was a big snooze. Harris and Bernie were trying to out radical each other. John Delaney had a few good points on healthcare. Marianne Williamson seemed like the adult on the stage although offered no real solutions. I ...

Re: Nike recalls shoes amid racial concerns
My understanding is that the 13 stars flag is used by some white supremacists. Until today I had never heard of such a thing and I would never disrespect the flag (and that is a version of our American flag) just because someone said they wanted to use it to symbolize something I disagree with.

"The Democrat field has Blacks, Whites, an Asian, a Hispanic and a Gay guy. The Republicans are the old white rich serial lying New Yorker guy party." I've got to disagree with you on that too. The last Presidential election the Republicans started out with a women, a black, two Hispanics...

Re: Impeachment
I'm surprised you guys don't know about Tulsi Gabbard. She is a former vice chair of the DNC, congresswoman from Hawaii and a veteran that served in Iraq. She has extensive knowledge about foreign affairs and was an early supporter of Bernie Sanders in 2016. That's just off the top of my head. I don...

Re: Democratic Primary Debates
I missed most of the first debate because I was working late so I can only weigh in on that mostly from clips I have seen. I did watch the whole 2nd debate though. I mostly agree on everything that Mori posted on it. I do wish that there had not been so many on the stage and that the mods had better...
