Re: Game Day (SL): Bucks (1-3) @ Suns (2-1), Thurs 7/16/15
If we were to move Tucker & Markieff for an upgrade at PF & shift Weems to SF so we could get Booker real minutes I would be very happy where we are as a roster. Totally agreed, in fact, I wonder who could disagree with it. Not sure who could be afforded with this package, maybe even includ...

I don't know, every time I think those guys are finally going to drop off, they just keep on going....Dan H wrote:Duncan doesn't have much left in the tank, though, does he? SA could be in a rebuilding mode in not to long.

Re: Around the League: Playoffs
There's not a whole lot I wouldn't trade for Cousins. Too bad we don't still have the Lakers pick. Our first this year, that pick, maybe Bledsoe for their #1 and Cousins? If things are really that bad over there, that's not a bad deal for either team.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Gotta admit, I'd like either Stanley Johnson or Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at 13. Such sentiment probably isn't the way to build a team, but I'd like it, and it's not like we'd be reaching. I like Jefferson, but I wouldn't be thrilled with Johnson. I just think he's overrated and there's a bunch of be...

Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
And I'm really not saying I'm totally against trading Bled for the #4.... I was more surprised at how eager everyone seems to do it. Draft picks just bust so often..... I think if Bledsoe was a positive, vocal leader who performed to his ability night in and night out, I would be very hesitant abou...

Re: NBA Playoffs: Finals
Thought this was interesting. Most Golden State Warriors fans probably have never heard of Nick U'Ren. As the special assistant to the head coach, U'Ren quietly stays behind the scenes doing whatever he can to make Warriors coach Steve Kerr look great. But after U'Ren suggested the drastic lineup c...

That would be pretty cool to see; Gentry coaching Dragic on and up and coming NOLA team. I've always like Gentry, I hope he gets another head coaching spot.SDC wrote:#DragonToNOLA (?)

The Rockets totally lost their composure that game. I can't believe the refs let so much of that go without calling a flagrant.

Re: NBA Playoffs: Finals
Should be a good one. Warriors are the more complete team but LeBron is playing the best ball of his life. Hope Kyrie is healthy so we see the teams at full strength. Interesting matchups too. Love's still out, so the Cavs won't be "at full strength." Debatable. I agree. I actually think ...

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I'm also probably in the minority here but I like Rondae Hollis-Jefferson better then Stanley Johnson. I totally agree with this. RHJ consistently impressed me every time I watched U of A games. I think he's got a long future as a workman pro. Also agree. I think Stanley Johnson is a good player, b...

Re: NBA Playoffs: 2nd Round
I just think the shots that Golden State has been making all year long have stopped falling. They've had a ton of open looks from three, and are just missing. Don't get me wrong, the Grizzlies are playing great defense, but the Warriors are just flat out missing some shots they normally make.

I think if the Grizzlies play physical, they might make it a series. I still don't think they would win, but they might push it to 6 or 7 games.

Re: NBA Playoffs (first round) thread
Honestly, I'm surprised they fired the social media person for that when they've let SO much go over the past season. That twitter account has talked so much trash to other teams, I'm surprised whoever was running it made it this far.

Re: ON THIS DAY 12 YEARS AGO
Would you take China Marbury or Bledsoe 1 on 1 ? - R Marbury wasn't perfect, but I don't think anyone can argue that the dude just loves the game. I remember watching this game in my dorm room and jumping up and down with all the players. Honestly, I think 1-on-1, Bledsoe would take Marbury right n...

The Warriors aren't a bad choice. I kind of cheer for players when the Suns aren't in it, and I've always liked Vince Carter, so the Grizzlies wouldn't be bad either.

Re: Suns News: Week 24 4/6-4/12
I wish there was a way we could keep Green in Phoenix. I actually really like him as a player. I think he's the type of guy you can put in with a second unit to bring energy and scoring. He moves great without the ball, I think he's a willing passer, and I think he's a good teammate. Yeah, his defen...

I kind of wish they would shut down Len for the rest of the season. I don't think his ankle is back to 100%, and why risk aggravating or hurting it more? Just rest up and hopefully come back stronger and as part of a better core of players.

I went to U of A. Class of 2001 for my BS, 2003 for my MS. Cats won the national title in basketball just before I started there. Oh cool! We were there about the same time. I was there from 1999 - 2003. Did you live on campus? I lived in Graham-Greenlee my first two years and then Kaibab my last t...

Yeah, I'm not sure what his current role on the team is. There's no reason that every single minute of his shouldn't go to TJ or Archie.carey wrote:I hate that Thorton is getting time. MORE ARCHIE.
