Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

Looking at the roster now, there still must be a handful of moves in the pipeline. There's just not enough minutes to go around for everyone. Starters: Booker Green Dunn Fleming Williams First bench unit: Beal Allen Brooks Royce Malauch End of the bench: Gillespie Brea NHD Oso Richards I can't ...

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

I don't know why he's listing Green, Brooks or Brea like they're so much bigger than we currently have on the wing. And I don't know....I kind of like Richards and think it'd be smart to keep him around. Great size and athleticism, would be a really solid backup for us if Maluach isn't ready and he ...

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2

He's way more Sam Hauser than Klay Thompson. Describe the difference. All I ever see Klay do is what's in his highlights Pre injury Klay was a defensive menace with a much longer wingspan, better athlete, could get his own shot. Brea is none of those things and has a negative wingspan. He's much ...

Re: 2025 NBA DRAFT NIGHT!

Kidney stones? All is forgiven! Ah, thanks. 😇 They are the WORST! I've been through it 2 times, technically 3 as the last time I had a two-fer with one day of relief in between. You have my respect…. I’m a virgin kidney stoner. My father in law has a two-fer as well. Brutal. Oh, man. Are you in the ...

Fleming or Penda at 36 and then maybe trade up if needed for Tyrese Procter and call it a draft.

I'm mentally preparing myself for a Spurs deal to be Sochan/Vassell/Keldon Johnson and pick #14 for KD. Or swap Barnes' expiring with Keldon Johnson.

Re: Suns Hire Ott

Underwhelmed, but at least he has a solid resume. If you strip the MSU ties out of it, I think everyone would be fine with it. This isn't like Gregory where your first reaction is WTF? I think Ott will be a solid hire, but still preferred Bryant.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

Ishbia could just go full petty and hire both of them...Bryant as HC and Ott as Associate Head Coach. Takes two good coaches from someone he hates, gets his MSU ties, and gets who I think will be an outstanding HC in Bryant.

Re: Phoenix Suns 2025-2026 Coaching Search

On paper, Ott makes sense and has a decent resume. I think I'd be fine with his inevitable hiring if Ishbia didn't just hire an unqualified GM basically only due to his MSU ties.

Hope I'm wrong and Bryant (who was my favorite since the beginning) is the pick, with Ott coming too as Associate HC.

Hoping it's Bryant, but would also be fine with Quinn or Sweeney. No thanks on the others.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft

The thing is... Kyrie/AD are on completely different timelines from Flagg. And you know there is no way Nico is trading AD away. So it doesn't make sense to me for them to keep Flagg. I would think they would want to match up timelines and trade for a win now piece instead. KD for salary filler and ...

Re: The Phoenix Suns promote Brian Gregory to General Manager

I thought JJ did well overall, but he almost seemed to play it safe and go for singles and doubles. Obviously in hindsight, he could have made better picks a good portion of the time, but then again, going for the home run potential blew up in our faces multiple times (Bender, Chriss, Josh Jackson ...

Trade KD to Detroit for Ausar, picks and other assets. Trade Booker to Houston for Amen, picks and salary filler.

New version of the Morris brothers, with more skill and less attitude!

Re: Are The Suns Cursed? Book it!

I’d argue this team has zero leader…. Books not a leader just like KD. They’re just hoopers through and through and don’t want responsibility of anyone else. This is an interesting comment. I do agree with your comment that we lack something from our team leaders, and it makes me think about the nat ...

Re: The Kevin Durant Problem

I think any KD-Houston trade will ultimately be something along the lines of Green, Smith, Eason or Whitmore and 2 of our picks back. I actually wouldn't mind that, as we'd get much younger/more athletic. Then move off of Royce and/or Grayson for a lower-salaried big and whatever draft compensation ...
