Re: Game Day: Suns (8-5) @ Pacers (5-7), Sat 11/22/14

The last couple games have been blowouts and no ones really playing more than 20-25 minutes, scoring load has been spread pretty even, which is kinda nice to have so many players capable of scoring

Re: Game Day: Suns (6-5) @ Pistons (3-8), Wed 11/19/14

IT3 spends more time than Dragic and Bledsoe as the only pg on the court, so naturally he's gonna have the ball in his hands when he's out there. He's often out there with green and tucker as his other perimeter players. I want the ball in IT's hands in those situations. He does dribble more than B...

Re: Game Day: Suns (6-5) @ Pistons (3-8), Wed 11/19/14

nba.com has some interesting statistics with their player tracking. Isaiah does in fact lead the team in time possessing the ball per game at 4.4 minutes. Bledsoe at 4.3 minutes, Dragic at 4.0 minutes. None of which are anywhere close to the leaders (reggie jackson 8.9, john wall 8.3)However Isaiah ...

Re: College Basketball: 2014-15

Ever since Butler shot about 5% in the championship game I haven't been able to watch college basketball. Couldn't be a bad as when Georgetown beat Kentucky, 53-40, in the '85 Final Four. Kentucky made only 24.5 percent of its shots overall, and incredibly, hit only 3 of 33 attempts in the second h...

Re: Around the League: Week 3 11/10-11/16

Dirk just moved up to #9 all-time on the scoring list, passing Hakeem. Since I started following the Suns very closely back in 2004, no opponent has scared me more than Dirk Nowitzki. Not Lebron, not any of the San Antonio trio, not Kobe, not Durant. I hate playing Dallas. Shawn Marion had some goo...

Amare won't get anything over the midlevel next year, if we really want him, we'd be able to get him. Assuming he'd want to come back.

Re: Around the League: Week 3 11/10-11/16

I think amare could fill a role on our team, but it'd be taking all of tolliver and randolphs minutes and stealing a few from Len/Plumlee. Not replacing kieff

Re: Around the League: Week 3 11/10-11/16

Anyone notice amare is rebounding like we all hoped he would when he was here? He's averaging 8.5 boards in 24 minutes. Good for the 5th highest rebound rate among players playing at least 20 minutes. 12th best amongst everyone. I hope he can have a decent year, we were right to let him go, but I wa...

Re: Around the League: Week 2 11/3-11/9

3) I think thomas has been fine so far, he's a bit of a ball stopper, but he's taking good shots and scoring efficiently. If that starts to change, we'll see how other players react I may be nitpicking here, but I don't think he is a ball stopper. He may have possession a lot, and end up shooting i...

Re: Around the League: Week 2 11/3-11/9

Ibaka and Perkins froze out Jackson for shooting too much: LINK A couple thoughts... 1) Russle Westbrook takes a billion shots all the time and they don't freeze him. 2) I'd rather Jackson jacking up shots than Perkins. 3) I wonder if our guys would ever do this to IT? 1) Russell Westbrook is also ...

Re: Suns News: Week 2 11/3-11/9

I think they should swap Kyrie for Bledsoe, but only from a Cavs perspective. I'm not sure I could get behind a Kyrie led Suns team. Bled would fat that Cavs team like a glove though> He's infinitely better on the defensive end and they could get serious about defense with Bled, LeBron, Marion and ...

Re: Suns News: Week 2 11/3-11/9

The problem with Kyrie is he creates very well for himself but doesn't create for others, nor can he play without the ball. It feels like he's headed for a Steve Francis - stephon Marbury like career. One of two things needs to happen, he can learn to create for others and be an actual pg or he need...

I didn't think the markieff foul was clear path but it was close. Archie's wasn't because he didn't have possession of the ball

Re: Do we already have our team?

How much of an upgrade over what we have is Horford to fully divest ourselves of assets? I think he's good. An improvement. Is that enough to go all in on? Idk. It's a good question, he's a bigger, better version of markieff, but why give up a bunch of assets when you've got a guy whose brings you ...
